Another for general los. I snused it for a year straight as I was living in Norway and it was the only brand knew I could pronounce

I got the Northerner try out box (it was like Christmas) and looked at all the cans in it before deciding to try a Grov portion. I loved it, didn't even mind the smell. Been a snus fanatic ever since.

Skruf Stark Portion, simply because at the time I tried it, I was looking for a cigarette replacement and I couldn't fully believe that snus really could work. So I started with the strongest brand available (at that time) and hell, it did work up to a point that I had to spit out some of my first portions because I feared a nicotine-overdose. No joke! In other words, even the normal-strength-brands like Ettan, General etc. will work!

I started with Camel because they sent me free tin coupons. Then hit the web and found this place and learned about real snus. I placed a mixed roll order with buysnus and as I waited for it found Triumph here in GA. When my mixed roll came in I think I slammed a General portion in first, because I figured it was a good base line to start with, I loved it and have never looked back. I mostly use los now and wish there was more of a variety to try.
I have got to say even though I do not like that Camel is putting out a sub par snus without them I do not know if I would have found the real Swedish snus as well as the great community called SnusOn.

Mine was Camel frost. I've seen it around for awhile since I live in a test market. I popped it and thought that nicotine and a breath mint was an excellent idea! Then I googled, found the real deal via this place and ordered a mix box and the offroad limited tin from Buysnus. Week later, I got home and checked the mail and could literally smell the package a mile away. First snus out of that batch was the offroad orange which I tossed in the trash about 5 minutes later. Not to throw in the towel I tried a Skruf Tranbar and thought it was ok. Then I had a peparmint and fell in love. Now after a few months and 40 different kinds later I think Camel tastes like chemicals, all my V2 cans we're given to my brother and I absolutely love the traditional tobacco flavors. It feels good to reminisce! It's funny how everyone sort of has the same time line, especially when you have the wife complaining how my stash in the freezer hinders actually storing "food"...psh

My first was General Portion. My Norwegian cousin said "try this out" since I was smoking a lot at the time. His words still ring true to this day: "Tastes good. Feels good. It's good."

Mine was General; that's pretty much all I could purchase locally anyway. The first one I tried from my first Buysnus order was the G. Rape that was included in the mystery mix. That whole first order was a great starting point from what I remember......except for the Phantom that they slipped in there. :P

My first was from the guy sitting next to me on a long airplane flight. As I was about to slip in a dip of Skoal Fine Cut, he fished out a can of General Wintergreen and said, "Try this. No need to spit.". Changed my life right then and there. He gave me a Mocca+ Euch when we got off and I was on SwedishMatch.com that night with a $100 order. A week later my excitement over having a roll of Gen Wint evaporated when I tried N&J West and Goteborg Rape los. And a world of other flavors since. God bless Sweden.

Skruf stark los was my first. Thanks to storm (i caught his youtube vids when thinking about what flavors to order). I took a mans sized pinch the same as i would when dipping and chucked'r up top. the second was knox. I hated the taste of the rose oil when i first started. I was quite pissed that i wasted $150 on snus. But it grew on me quite fast.

I will never know my first snus since some swedish girls gave them to me when we were drunk in a Berlin tube station, but the first snus I bought myself was General portions.

Out of my first order (which I can't exactly remember what was in it) the first tin I opened was Lucky Strike original portions. Thought it was disgusting. Then tried Knox loose and thought it was disgusting.

By the next day I loved them Funny how first impressions are always different. At least for me.
