Wow, I also thought I was the only one who did that! My coworkers think I'm nuts.

The few people I know who dip don't seem to care at all how the lid goes back on. Weird.

I used to line 'em up all the time. Now I just peel off the paper around the lid when I open the can. Comes off real nice, almost as if it were designed that way....

You have to line up the label when you snus. Otherwise you disrespect the label. Of course, one nice thing about the Gotland's cans (which are the best, btw) is that the label is not on the lid at all, but you can still line the ram up.

My wife thinks my OCD about the label is the funniest thing about my snus habbit.

heh I too thought i was the only one that did this =P I'm glad to see many of my fellow snusers are as anal as me! once in a while i won't line them up, like if i'm quickly popping one in and rushing to get some were or do something ... but 9 times outta 10 i line them up!

Every once in a while I'll line up the label. I think in 8 months I've probably done it 8 times.

                I'm glad I'm not alone.

A couple of weeks back I put the lid back on my Skruf Stark, and I went to line up the little arrows, but I didn't need to, it was already aligned exactly, I was pretty pleased with that.

                God I'm sad...

I usually don't have time, but if I'm really bored I will. For my snus tower, I always line up the labels.

Some of them are pretty challenging to line up; the RL tins are almost like Rubik's Cubes.

I absolutely don't, and didn't even think of it until now

some brand should capitalize on this and make like a picture or sentence you can only align by opening and re-aligning. eh?

A little TOO complex for you huh Jason? Come on, take your meds and everything will be just fine. Now aren't you happy they don't sell snus in brown paper bags?

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I don't know; if I stared at a tin of Roda long enough, I'd probably start having LSD flashbacks or an epileptic seizure or something... maybe I should stick with Grov: you just turn the lid until it says "Grov".

Clearly. What's interesting about that is that, like me, snus companies probably don't know how many people are actually obsessive-compulsive about lining up their labels. I really would never have guessed.

But now that I'm aware of this phenomenon, yes, a fun game of some sort on the can would be a really cool feature. I say patent it NOW.

There ya go!!. About a year ago I simply removed the label from a triumph tin and I just use and refill this tin daily. Its silver, seals well and has a waste tray in the lid. Works for me and this dreaded label lining up thing is a non-issue.
