I know I trash talk V2 a lot, but for those who like it, it's cool and cheap. It was some of the first stuff I tried because it was so inexpensive. The reason I avoid it, is all of it tastes so...artificial to me. General and most others have natural styles of flavors and that's what I like personally.

My problem with Swedish Match products is that they all seem to leave this nasty film that coats my throat. I can't stand it.

I'll use their stuff, but it is few and far between.

I hate that Swedish Match Los decides to use waxed cardboard instead of the plastic they use for portions.

            Yeah Andy,

V2 stuff is the easiest Los of all to bake, and it will hold together under your lip forever and a day without much effort.

Keep us posted as to what you think about the other ones

The only V2 that I have tried so far is the Phantom Classic portions and I could not even finish the whole tin that stuff was terrible. I love Off Road Licorice both portions and los. I will have to give Phantom Los a chance before I decide that it is all bad.

My latest order? I hear you all asking. 3 rolls of phantom classic. Arrived today with a free snus bin.

I got struck by the date on the can, though. It's a little smudged, but it appears to say Best Before 11.08.2009

I've been loving the Phantom Classic still. For a day or two (after switching toothpaste), all of my snus except cranberry tasted like pickles (Phantom Classic, Grov). Now, it's back to normal. I love how I can keep Phantom in for as long as I like and while the peppery taste wears off, it doesn't turn bitter. I've also been enjoying the Julesnus. I ordered a couple more cans along with a can of the Gotlands. I thought I'd prefer the Gotland's Julesnus, but lo and behold I prefer the V2, I think because it's stronger flavored and a little sweeter. It's pretty dry though, so I'm always hillbillying it. Needless to say, it was a good Holiday treat! I wonder how long we can still order it.

I highly recommend OR Cranberry to you, Andy. And if you want something different, try a can of Offroad LC Wintergreen and bottom lip a pinch in the morning.

                      Cheers!

Hey Andy, can you buy V2 everywhere in Denmark? Do you live near a major city?

I hope you enjoy your new snus!

Started by Marc and Patrick Vogel, V2 Tobacco began manufacturing Swedish snus in Silkeborg, Denmark in 2006, to the same exacting standards that snus manufactured in Sweden is.

Below is a list of the brands and varieties produced by V2 Tobacco:
