I use both loose and portion. I usually have three or four cans in use stored in the fridge (the rest are in the freezer), and carry a portion snus with me when i go out. The loose snus stays in the fridge since i use it only at home.
A can (loose or portion) usually lasts about a week.
I do notice the loose tends to dry out a bit near the end, and since i'm a tightwad, i've taken to sprinking the loose w/ a few drops of water when i get about halfway through the can. This seems to work fairly well.
Of course, i may not be the average snus user since i use nasal snuff as well. (I like the rush  ) But for day-to-day, hour-to-hour nicotine level maintenance, snus is my mainstay.
When I used portions I used around 4-5 a day, so given that the can has around 24 pouches it would take me 5-6 days to get through one can. Before snus I smoked around 20-25 cigs a day. Snus is turning out to be very economic for me.. hehe
I have no idea how much loose I use right now, but I have noticed that I put much bigger amounts in than with the portioned snus, so I guess that - given that the loose has 45g compared to the 24g of portioned cans - my loose cans last around the same amount of days as the portioned ones did.
man........the cans last forever. But the snus disappears in 3 to 4 days.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.
Recently bought a can of Cougar Straight Long Cut. I'd never had this before. This is an initial review, that will need a follow up later. Back in the...
I think I don't care for American dip anymore. I used to dip regularly years ago, but I don't think I was a dip head like many people are that love it....
