Gotlands Christmas Snus nicotine levels

Does anyone know why the Gotlands Julesnus has such low of nicotine levels? The portions have 1mg/gram and the loose has 0.8mg/gram. I guess the snus is mostly for the flavor?

that sucks good thing i ordered the v2 edition which has average nic 7mg/gram (oh and they have not arrived yet! ****ing customs!).

This was covered in another post around here somewhere. zero believes, and I concur that it's incorrect information. Gotland snus is generally a touch stronger at 9mg per gram, and I don't see why the Jule snus would be different. I'll do some looking and see if I can't find a more authoritative nicotine statement. Hey Jimmy... Do you have that info?

the moist level is 46% in portion and 55% in loose

Snusjus - That figure's probably expressing roughly how much nictoine you might absorb from the snus eg. for a regular portion 10-20% of 8mg but as Jimmy from Gotland's mentions below their snus weighs in at about 9mg.

Yep. I've bought the Julesnus for a few years now and it's definitely a real snus with kick. I didn't know it was 9mg, but I would have guessed it to be on par with something like General, which is pretty close.
