Well, I'm pretty in-different to the cans. I liked the 1847, because a) they seal just great and b) the used snus compartment is a real must. However, I do prefer a plastic can somehow to a metal one, not sure why....
This said, I think top of the list has got to be the Skruf cans... they're just real easy on the eye, and yeah they do keep the snus in real good condition. However, I've seen the new General extra strong cans... hahaha, it just cracked me up 'General - Ekstra Sterk' ! something about that lettering which was so good to me, I could see myself rocking those just for the comedy value.

I'm suprised nobody has mentioned the Jacksoben's hinged lid.... I usually drop the used portion lid at the most inopportune moments.
I vote Jacksobsen's for function
Onyx for style- but the silver sticker tends to rub off and get on my snus.
N&J coffin style runs a very close second solely because it doesn't look like a "dip" can.

Gustavus portion tin is my fav. Sweet colors, blue and silver, and cool design and font. Also, like the little yellow diagnal strip on the can with Swedish Quality written in red. Lucky's tin is my second fav along with Gen Onyx.

V2 tobaccos tins, whoops they don't put it in tins anymore. I got about 100 cleaned black tins that might wife plans to use for her craft projects. I think Tobaco has the best tins right now. 1847 cans are nice but they still lack the fit they should. I am referring to the was cap that is in the bottom of the can. Why have a cap that falls off easily on the bottom of the can? The frickin bottom keeps falling out! THE cardboard cans from swedish match suck my ass. The lids are even worse since they crack all of the time. I have bitched about this for the last six months, yet they don't have any represenative on this forum. Seems the smaller tobacco companies care more than the larger ones. Screw 'em. Though they do have some of the best snus: Ettan and Probe. Yet the aforementioned products are over $3 a can. They should be sold in a ****in' tin. My 2 cents worth.
Cheers
