Camel Snus

I was lucky enough to get a 2 test cans from camel in the mail. they were both original and tasted great. when i went to the camel site to fill out my survey about it they asked if i would like more. so hopefully i will recieve a few more cans in the mail. has anyone determined which company is making this for camel? if anyone in austin or portland that would like to mail me some i will gladly paypal you the money!

I believe B.A.T is manufacturing camel snus for Reynolds.

Haven't tried any but am guessing will be decent. This stuff looks like real snus, not just tobacco in a bag.

As for american chew--> disgusting, and the spitting thing is so unpractical.

I don't think I will care for the flavors/flavours(he he) as I like swedish snus.

Another thing is price, seems kinda expensive and you only get like 13 or 15 pouches, Pathetic. :cry:

O, buy the way, I contacted reynolds about getting some camel snus, they said "sorry, perhaps if it expands into other markets, keep checking our web site for updates". I'll just keep buying my swedish snus, much cheaper anyway.

Anyone know what sized pouches these are(mini/large)? They looked kinda small.

Lucky Strike pouches are the standard, normal size with 1 gram of snus each.


(Damn can you believe the can still smells delicious eventhough the lid doesn't seal anymore and its sell-by date is october 24th 2006?)

Technically they're 0.8 grams each, according to the tin I'm currently working my way through. But there's no discernable visual difference between them and other 'large' pouches. And yeah, nice tin

camel snus will be extending its distribution area in July, includes indiana, kentucky and a few other states. looks like they changes the can from a round can to a oval one. recently received coupons and a card for a free sample.

emailed camel and they confirmed that it will be sold in the indianapolis area in July.
