I have been looking at flavoring oils for snus, I am a mint and wintergreen snus user and was thinking about using some wintergreen or mint oils on loose snus I was wondering if anyone has tried it? Or have any suggestions?

If I were to do this on a very small scale, I would start with Ettan los, because it doesn't have any flavor added to it. It's just tobacco, water and salt. That way you have a blank slate, so to speak, and you're not mixing wintergreen or mint on top of bergamot/juniper/citrus flavors that are already added. All that said, I can tell you that wintergreen application rate for finished snuff/snus is anywhere from 1% to 3%, so if you're going to experiment, that one would be the easiest because if you put to much in it, it's not going to be hugely noticeable. Also, I remember you said you were a dipper turned snuser...so there are also sweeteners added to moist snuff, so that could be something to consider if that taste is what you're going for.
As for mint (I'm assuming you mean peppermint oil) peppermint oil varies a lot, because it's a big mixture of components...so application rate depend hugely on the quality. That would probably hafta be trial and error...start with 1 drop, mix it up really really good and taste it...add more in a very calculated fashion. Working with only 40-50 grams is going to make it very difficult to get the flavor to be consistent throughout. Good luck if you try it!

I've been DIYing eliquid flavours for a while so wouldn't mind being able to transfer some of my favourite flavours to snus, tobacco based ones anyway.
From what I can gather PG is used as an ingredient to keep Snus moist, it's also a carrier for flavours.
I have a box of over 50 quality concentrates I wouldn't mind experimenting with.
