Lol alrighty I'll just ride that out then without worries. With portions I swallowed them 3 times while eating forgetting I was snusing. By the way, I have a feeling they mix it with wax to make it playdoe like. The way it molds and feels in my lip I think it is wax

I've swallowed portions after falling asleep. No problems, either. Not sure if the white portions were still white portions the next day, but I didn't look for them too hard.

I've had entire pillars disappear when I fall asleep with one in.........so no real worries.......also the only snus I feel like I swallow a noticeable percentage of the snus itself are the finely ground ones like Roda

I swallow a lot of snus, sometimes on purpose. I'm not dead yet. I don't think... Hard to say. I could be in hell. It's plausible :^D

When I hillbilly pinch my lös i know that a part (1/4 i would say) is going to be swallowed with the juice , never had a problem and i have stomach problems so don't worry to eat a part of your prillas, just think it's vegetable!
About eating all the snus every time i have some doubts, i'm curious to read answers from old time snusers...
    Happy snusing!

Thanks snusdog, another question. Would swallowing the actually tobacco and not the juice be bad for you? While going through the beginners trial?

Basically swallowing everything overtime

Edit: Its not coming apart, just melting. And its weaker than the actual portions. I'd take one portion on the side upper lip and its overwhelming and perfect in the upper lip but 2 equal sizes of portion of loose snus I barely taste snus or anything. Its been here for 30 minutes
What brand are you using and how tightly did you pack it........those two factors go a long way in determining the flavor release........e.g. Roda, tightly packed = almost no flavor for a while.

General ES loosely packed = full flavor almost at once.

Don't fret about the snus sliding. If it does rinse and try again. Eventually your lip will get used to having lose there.....in turn you will get used to the pris slowly molding to the shape of your mouth.
In fact, eventually the only time you will bake a pris (vs pinch and insert) will be when you need the pris to last longer.

Relax, give trial, error, and adjustment a little time to work its course....you wll have the hang of it in no time

I got my first order of loose last week, and i much prefer it to portions, i also got myself a X tool portion maker. I got the X tool just in case i was rubbish at hand baking, which i am, but i will persevere
The loose i got are Offroad original, silver, and gold, my favorite up to now is the original. I also got a can of Thunder frosted, which i haven`t tried yet.
I`m still going to use portions, when i`m out and about, as i`m a bit messy getting it out of my mouth l.o.l.. But at home, and when i`m in my shed working on my motorbikes, it will be loose from now on.

I've found for me when first starting out was to just use my pointer finger and thumb of both hands to form it into tight elongated box shape, compressing it a lot. I didn't use my palm at all. Now I just use a farmer's pinch and don't make a prilla.

Lenny's cut is fine for making pris out off. Quite moist and sticky. Someone here had a great method, of using your index fingure and two fingures from said oposite hand to make the pris... thats after you get a decent lump formed in your palm

Blue Loose is a bit tricky......start with something like Roda or General

A big part is simply the lip getting used to having loose snus there. Roda and General will make the technique easier while giving your lip time to adjust

You also might want to check out the Dipper's Guide to Snus (it is about all things loose). A lot of people have shared tips and tricks there that you may find helpful. You can find the guide here
