      Oh my god.

It's so good. It's only been about 5 minutes, so I'm not sure how it'll be after a bit more time, but the smell and initial taste is ridiculous.

      Worth every bank breaking dollar.

My first time with Kardus. WOW is this stuff strong in flavor. It's like eating coffee grounds lol. Ok so for everyone that missed out, this is very similar to Ettan Lös, at least initial impressions are. It is very very dark and pungent.

Oh well ... if it's very similar to Ettan then I'm not as jealous ... it should be deeply rich and have all sorts of fantastic dried-fruit complexity in there too.

Yeah it's like a very fresh very good Ettan Lös. Also very overpriced. I don't get any sweet or fruity hints of anything. Just dark tobacco with no "exotic" flavors at all. Sort of a disappointment. I will not shell out that kind of money next year. No special Rum flavoring or exotic spices or fruits just plain tobacco....it is very good for someone that likes straight unflavored tobacco but not what I was expecting

I wouldn't take your word for it snuskid ... I would still give it a go myself it it was possible. People have different palates and something which you might not be able to detect may still be there. Just with simple tobacco there's a whole spectrum of different tastes to be had given the different varieties and curing methods there are - as I know from the bitter experience of making my own snus ... getting it perfect is a very skilled art.

Ettan is a fantastic product ... and all the previous Kardus offerings have been different degrees of outstanding.

Try it for yourself then. Coming from someone with a culinary background, I am good at picking out flavors and different subtleties. This is not something my palate finds very interesting and that's just it. It's good quality, tastes pretty decent, but not that interesting. If you have a different opinion on this years kardus squeezyjohn please do share.

As mentioned earlier in the thread ... I don't have the opportunity as I live in a country that Swedish Match will not allow it's snus to be sent to. And even if I could it's all sold out now. I'd love to be able to share my opinions on it ... but am out of contact range which is very frustrating indeed!

I wasn't having a go at you BTW - I'm sure with your culinary background you'll agree that different people can have very different opinions on the same flavours. I saw similar conversations about some of the old Kardus batches being just like Ettan on steroids when I was fortunate enough to be able to get hold of it ... and I though it was stunning ... so that's why I wrote the reply to you.

I feel your pain. I am no longer able to get Pioneer Snuff (snus) here in the US because they don't ship it anymore. I'll be honest, if this Kardus tasted like Pioneer I would have been very happy ; )
