So classic me, I run out of snus before my new shipment arrives. I read on here to get some Oliver twists. I went to the local tobacconist and grabbed 2 boxes for £9.20. I don't know wtf I'm doing here. They are tiny pellets. I put like 5 in my mouth and didn't get any sensation or buzz. I tried chewing on them and they just tastes like shit. Am I missing something here?

Oliver Twists are definitely lower nic and slower release than snus. You can accelerate things by chewing on them a bit. The taste is an acquired one!
I'm a bit concerned that you're looking for a buzz from tobacco because that only ever happens when you take more of it than your body is used to. Long term it is impossible to keep getting the buzz without overdosing - once you're hooked like us lot - realistically the best you can hope for is to enjoy the flavours whilst staving off the cravings!Squeezyjohn
Sometimes wrong and sometimes right .... but ALWAYS certain!!!

I tried some of those the other day, I found if you unroll them into a strip and then double it up and have it running along your lip you get the most nicotine it is possible to gain from them -- surface area and all that -- so if you do that with two and have one on either side (or even in the bottom lip) you should be good.

Well agree with above, except mornings are still extra special with coffee as well as with alcohol. TB, may have meant satisy his N cravings not the initial buzz when one gets introduced to N.Originally posted by squeezyjohn View PostOliver Twists are definitely lower nic and slower release than snus. So classic for nearly everyone, and I am sure you thought I need to place an order prior but didn't execute until it was too late. If only only you would have ordered when you knew you should have...ahh the snusers regrets tha is always the major one. Well, you will savor that order when it arrives for sure. First thing I do when I sign for the package at the UPS terminal is borrow the UPS reps blade to cut that baby free, so when I hit the car I won't have any issues getting to my booty immediately.Originally posted by paulgedz View PostSo classic me, I run out of snus before my new shipment arrives. I used to get an enormous buzz when i smoked my first cigarette of the morning. That never went away in all the years of smoking; also if i left it a few hours between cigarettes i would get a massive headrush , which i enjoyed. Never got anything like that with snus, although do definitley get a nice warm glow from it , a feeling of relief and contentment . i don't understand why someoneelse looking for a buzz should concern you , seems strange . People say they drink beer because they like the taste , they appreciate the craft, people say the same thing about wine and snus; i used to drink to get drunk , or to at least feel the alcohol in my system , i think thisis more the case with most people than they give credit to. I mean I hated the taste of snus, and cigarettes and beer when i first tried ; and yet i 'learned' to appreciate them , or developed a dependency on them. I think the latter seems more plausible than the formerOriginally posted by squeezyjohn View PostOliver Twists are definitely lower nic and slower release than snus.
