How Much do you Snus?

I'm an ex-smoker, and I pretty much have a snus in all day, except when I'm eating or sleeping. I try to leave it in for at least 45 min. to an hour. So, that's about 12 portions per day I suppose.

I go through about 2/3 of a can of snus a day, so you could do far worse than two a day.

Strong snus portions - about 6 a day. Snuff a couple times an hour usually.

I'm pretty new to this, but I probably use snus (split between los and portion) 6-8 times a day. I do snuff a fair bit though. As many of the others here I always start the day with a strong portion - usually Nick and Johnny strong - then from there on I mix it up a lot.

Oh, I knew I wasn't using very much. I just hadn't seen a thread like this and thought it would be interesting. Curiously, I am starting to feel urges if I don't get even the small amount I am using.

When I take a dip of the Skoal wintergreen pouch, it sends me for a real ride. Boy, is it strong. Lasts a long time, too.

Nothing to be curious about. It's nicotine addiction. And you may have it forever.

I have just always enjoyed the flavor of tobacco, and I decided it is an enjoyment I want back in my life. My wife is fairly pissed about it, though, so it may not last long.

Listen to your wife and quit while you are ahead.

I've always had enough problems without intentionally starting any addictions.

My wife seems to be able to smoke about 3 cigarettes a week without getting hooked. Maybe you could cut back a bit more and be ok?

I was a heavy smoker. I am using about 10 or 12 portions a day, mostly sterks and xtra sterks.

Chain snus. So I don't count. I even use them in my sleep. Usually on average a snus lasts me 1.5 hours, I sleep for 6 hours a day, so 12 when I'm awake, usually 1 or 2 when I'm asleep, depending on if I wake up and change flavors mid-sleep.

=12 (Interesting. Less than I figured.) I would guess if it were either winter time or I was in the mood for snuffing moAr, I would cut at least 4 or 5 off this tally.
