I have been snussing since April '10, I use about 8 portions a day (give or take a portion) And have had no problems with my gums.

And yes, I switch where I put my portion every time.

Over 10 years, on/off with smoking. 4 month ago i quit smoking and start using snus daily.
Lös can last maybe 2 days. No problem with gums, i use snus at same place.. Maybe change side sometimes..

I've been snusing for about 2 years and 3 months. Always put my snus in the same spot. Never had any dots or anything weird like that.

The only time I got irritation was when I used white portions exclusively, which made my gums get dry and uncomfortable at times, so I switched to OP's. Haven't had it since.

Daily for about 2-3 years. I used it every now and then before that as well when I smoked though. I have had no problem with my gums at all. White portions though burn and irritate the gums more than original portions do, as Chadizzy1 said.

Snus has been proven NOT to cause cancer. I would say it's about as harmful as potato chips cancer-wise. It's mainly the smoke and the particles from fermenting tobacco (as with chew) that makes tobacco cancerous. Snus is pasteurized and therefore contains very low levels of TSNA.

It's been proven that coffee and oral sex are more harmful and have a higher cancer risk than snus.

It really is. It sucks that it cost so much now though.

Yet there has not been a thread concerning the health hazards of these,
nor inquiries about how best to quit them...

                      just sayin'...

Oral sex is worth the risk IMO!
