In my last order I got two brands of licorice-flavored snus just for something different: Oden's original licorice and Nord 66 Nordic Breeze. The taste isn't really bad, but I'm a little curious about the mouthfeel that I get from both of these. I'll put a portion of either of these in for around 30 minutes, but during that time while I'm talking or whatever, I'll notice that when my teeth rub against one another, I get this sensation (and sound) as if I had very fine bits of sand between my teeth. They're made by two entirely different companies, with the only thing in common as far as I can tell is that they contain licorice flavoring. While I'm sure it's harmless, it somewhat turns my stomach, knowing that I'm swallowing whatever it is that's causing it.
The portions themselves look like any other portion with nothing that would lead me to believe there's something contaminating the batch, although I haven't ripped either of them apart to see what could be causing it. Could it be stray salt crystals or something? Has anyone else experienced what I'm talking about?
I won't be ordering either of these again--not because of this, necessarily, but because SnusCentral stopped carrying Oden's Licorice, and I'm not too keen on the Nord 66 flavor after having gone through a few portions, but I'm still curious as I have a few cans left of each.

Oh, and the obligatory... OMFG Is there FIBERGLASS in my SNUS?!
