You know what ... I don't want to do that ... I always thought that I would be happy if I could take any dependence on an addictive substance out of the equation before I got in to snus. But snus is just for me. Forever.

I don't just treat it as a source of nic (which of course I do need it for) - but it's a whole new level of gastronomy for me too ... I love the flavours, both artificial and tobacco based - the subtle differences and flavour sensations that it gives are like fine wines, or single malts, or cheese (I don't eat cheese BTW!)

I will just have to plough that enthusiasm for the stuff in to making it instead of consuming it!

I would try to rule wisely! Seeds and dirt man......all you need is seeds and dirt. This will be my fourth growing year, I have about ten dollars invested in seed, and I have masses of tobacco stored everywhere. Fun hobby that generates massive amounts of leaf.

Good call Whalen, never would have thought of it myself but I would probably give it a shot if I had no other choice.

If all tobacco became illegal I would use big pharma nic products for two weeks, then drink enough on a Friday night for a two day extreme hangover. I do not crave nicotine when hungover.

The following Monday I would give up nicotine.

Poppy you mean GN? To make heroin, would need to be south america (pref colombia) for cocaine, coca wouldn't grow too well in afghanistan.

I would say, "quit", but I know it couldn't last because I did quit smoking several times and I was thoroughly miserable. Nothing but snus (we didn't have e-cigs back then) solved the problem. I guess if e-cigs didn't work for me I would have to start smoking again.
