I was saying to try cope pouches because they give you the flavor without the debris.

I used Cope Fine Cut for a long time. I used pouched at work. Then i switched to redman snuff afterwards, before my snus enlightenment.

Grizzly does make pouches. Came out about 2 or 3 months ago down here in Georgia.

Skoal, Copenhagen, Red Seal and on more brand are made by American Smokeless Tobacco, AKA US Tobacco. They also make a few nasal snuff brands. Bruton is one.

Skoal Apple & Peach, Cope snuff, Cope Whiskey & Cope Smooth Hickory Are the things that I still buy.

Never upper lipped. Upper-deck is reserved for snus, Lower lip for dip. Snus is more flavorful up top, dip is more flavorful down below.

Why try the American stuff if I snus, well cause it's there, it's tobacco, and well....why not? You only live life once so I at least gotta see what it's all about. ANd I have lived in the South now for 13 years, so gotta keep working on becoming a Southern Boy.

Too many replies to read them all, but the american tobacco pouches suck overall. Might as well throw the Skoal bandits in the trash. They are worthless...unless they have somehow improved them. I have heard the Grizzlys are bettter. I a am not up to taking a chance on that. Besides, Grizzly is a cheap Kodiak knock off. Maybe I am wrong about the pouches, but I would rather have an LD Blue, or Retro Portion any day over the stuff they sell in the US......... as an added note: When are the Ice Tins going to become reasonable in price again?

I like skoal straight. I have found I also like cheaper dips like longhorn. Longhorn straight is good and so is longhorn fine cut natural. Longhorn is not rustic tasting like redman natural or copenhagen. I believe all the swedish match dips have lower tsnas so that would be Longhorn, Timberwolf and Redman. I get longhorn at Walmart for 1.22

I got myself a can of Copenhagen long cut today. Lower lipped and didnt spit at all.

Copenhagen has the most incredible taste. Simply salt + leather. it becomes mildly sweet after about 20-30 mins.
