Africaine Benchikou. Yes a little of everything. Me too but ciggies, hate them. Gonna puff pipe soon. Very very occasionally with clean least after taste very room refresh ending aroma....hate after taste on smoke, I looked for some samples that promise to deliver what I'm looking for. And got a sweet French made cute cute pipe on eBay. It's even has the carry bark still on it. Darling

anyway may i ask what makla is yours...? afrikia..? el kantara...?

    EDIT

also i think that chema is less potent then makla in term of nic hit...do you agree?

My Makla says made in Belgium. Harsh like a little burning but I can tell repeated use would irritate much like snus can but the gum gets used to it. Although I only do 3-4 pris a dy. I snuff nasal snuff like English mostly and vape e cigs

so have you tried both chema and makla? what kind of makla? i have el kantara (menthol)

what you mean by "harsh" on gums...? makla el kantara doesnt burn at all...instead chema mint burns a lot...but it may be due to the high mint content...i dont know...

Discovered I have both Chema and a Makla for Belgium. Used tea bag and they aren't any more bitter than a snus and almost no salt or flavor. Kind of uneventful except the nic hit. Harsh on the gum I can tell but after 10-15 minutes I can take it out because had enough nic for me. I think I'll be using them up for quick uneventful nic hit periodically. Might buy again if the price was right. Forget what they cost. Leaving open just to see if it helps a little with some of the cat pee smell, which I can't taste but....may as well.

I bought Chema with my Mr. Snuff order or a try. Online describes Chema and Makla as the same thing with different names. It's unusually bitter. I don't like bitter, but it's not too salty like snus. It's unusually smelly but it sys leave it open a couple dys and the ammonia will lessen. There nasal snuffs like that too. All in all I'm leaning towards the sweet spices non male type mild pipe tobaccos for overall best tobacco experience. Too bad it must be ignited! Takes more than half the yummy-ness away! I could smell a fresh bag of the least smokey most feminine ones all day. Earthy but right. Can't the ph be altered without all the salt? I guess not huh. Dumb newbies. Don't rock the boat

    the gums issue is reversible...?

thank you all for the patience
Depends? Recession is permanent, but I don't know about the skin above the gumline. Cells would almost have to regenerate, right?

be patients, allow me another question if i can...may i ask you why the makla el kantara doesnt burn at all for me...? indeed somewhere ive read it is the smoothest...maybe its PH level is lower than others...? something with an elevated PH level should burns, isnt it...?

anyway i usually keep it in the mouth for about 5-10 minutes because of the nic hit...it is a little time...

    thanks so much

now its official: im paranoid i

thath why I thought it was harmless at all...
I am not sure as i have not used makla but if i was you i would try and get some snus. Odens and thunder will be as close as you can get to the nicotine in makla and you wont have to worry about your gums

From what i have experience with high ph levels in dip it can give you a chemical burn on the gums and cheek

I don't know what the mechanism is. My guess would be the high ph damages the tissue, causing it to die off. Maybe someone more knowledgeable knows for sure.
