Longtime lurker, trying to get good snus in stores

Hey Rick, I'm assuming there's been no luck getting Samaha's to carry your stuff? Just wondering if your people ever got in contact with them...

I passed the info off to my sales team, but haven't heard anything. Have you been in there lately to check?

Yea I've been to one of those stores and all they had was general, but this one shop near me has 2 general fridges (one with the new trial classic blends) and on one shelf he has Blue Ocean. I think that's a mint one though, but I might try it. Hopefully he rotates the Blue ocean, maybe I can recommend something to him. Has anyone tried that snus?

Gonna get a polarizing response on the blue ocean. I really like the stuff but there's nothing else like it that I've tried. Not really a mint but it has camphor in it so it has a cooling sensation to it. Very nice stuff indeed IMO. Some people here seem to hate it though.

No los, unfortunately, but everything else. Incidentally, they also sell Silver Dollar snuff and even started carrying Toque Whiskey and Honey.

I just bought the blue ocean and immediately put one in. It is a very nice snus. I Can see why its called Blue Ocean, because its a little salty and cooliing from the camphor like you mentioned. The store owner says he's getting three more types next week, so thats a plus. He didnt say what kind since he doesnt place the orders. The store is in Burbank CA if anyone wants to know I guess PM me (I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post store names on this forum)

Shouldn't be a problem with the names. We have a while thread on here dedicated to them. Burbank it's a little far for me to drive anyway :-)

Well it's called Burbank House of Cigar and Gifts. It wouldn't be worth the drive unless he really stocks up. So this store has potential, I guess it depends on how much Snus people buy. He said its doing alright, so ill probably shop there for a while. He charges exactly $6 bucks a can which is a little steep, but for buying one can at a time it's all good.

Hey, Rick...went in to Samaha's today, and talked to him for awhile. He said no one from Kretek had contacted him. He's very open to getting other brands of snus, remembered me talking about Jakobssons. Plymouth is a college town, and he told me his General product is moving very well.

Well then, I'll call him personally on Monday and let you know the outcome. You can also tell him to add it to his next order with Phillips & King, which is a subsidiary of Kretek that services tobacconists. He more than likely buys from them already. Don't worry though, I'll call him though. Do me a favor though, send his info again so that I don't have dig through all the PM that I save, thank you sir.
