      Actually I recently tried 1847 again and think it tastes almost exactly like Gustavas Original minus the chocolate notes. Costs a lot less than 1847 though. I'm loving this stuff and just ordered some los.

        I opened a can of gustavus loose two days ago. After much thought I have determined it tastes fainly of used coffee grounds. Glad I tried it, but will be gone when the can is done. Not for me 8)

          Gustavus is now my second favorite behind Ettan. The salt flavor is what I desire. Ettan delivers a decent salt flavor from the start to the finish, but Gust gives me a kick arse salt flavor at the end. Like a very intense salt flavor when you are at the point that you have to be pushing the pris in with your tounge to keep it there for a few minutes longer. That is the point at which you get the awsome salty-nes.
