KNOX- is it strong?

I bought a bunch of white portions Ettan, Roda Lacket and some non white I guess Gotlands and also some Knox. Now I sorta like the Knox, but it is quite strong. Is it a super nicotine snus like skruf stark? or do you think its normal. It tastes strong, but I like it! and I like the price!

It dose have a stronger taste then some, but the nicotine level is the same as any normal brand i believe. I can over do skruf stark los i can bake two large pris and stuff them in each side of my mouth and after 15 mins i am swimming, i can do the same with knox but no ill effects.

Skruf just seems to make all their products a hair stronger than everyone else they compete with.

Knox is a little stronger than most portion snus. Typically, most regular/large portions contain 8mg of nicotine, and I believe Knox contains 9mg.

Strong snus typically has 11mg of nicotine. Nick and Johnny, General Onyx, etc have 11mg, I believe Skruf Stark has 12mg.

I've yet to find two brands of snus that were identical in strength.. even beyond the nicotine levels, you have other factors that change how fast you absorb the nicotine.. I vaguely remember a post here by the folks at Gottlandssnus talking about how their products typically give you a slow buildup where most other products give you a blast up front.

I think Knox also seems stronger because it has a more present bitter taste to it. At first I thought I loved Knox portions, but after a few weeks of using it as my main snus, it would almost make me sick. I can't stand the stuff anymore! ops:

I don't think Knox is any stronger than your standard snus. It has a long lasting, strong flavor that makes it a favorite among many users. You can't beat the price and enjoyment of Knox as a mainstay snus.

I love the taste of Knox for about the first 10 minutes but then it seems to get almost vegetal tasting to me, artichokes flavor almost. I also find the flavor and nicotine come on strong but disappear quickly. I usually go through cans of Knox faster than other brands because of this. At the price it doesn't really matter though.

Taste-wise, I have Knox at the bottom of my list. Way too bitter. It will not be a re-purchase.

I buzz about Knox, my only complaint is that I've had like stalks poking through one or two pouches before? I guess you can't really complain at that price but you know... it was a bit of a snus-off

Give it a go, definitely worth a try if you like General and Skruf. I kinda pitch it in-between these two brands in terms of flavor.

I think I've figured out what the flavor reminds me of. The last few sips of a dirty-martini, warm gin, olive juice and vermouth. Especially olives.

I would have to agree with itchystiches about the taste being between General and Skruf and the Price -- well I bought a roll.
also a roll of los, but haven't tried yet.
