Question For EU Snusers ...

Because almost all the doors are now closed ...

How long will your stash last at normal usage?
How long will it last if you cut back?

I am down to 15 cans right now. I had cut back already when turmoil began in the EU in 2011. My stash should last me for another 5 to 6 weeks.
I know there is a lot of panic ordering activity going on right now. I am not making panic orders today. We will be on holiday traveling for 2 weeks and I cannot ask my neighbor to accommodate 5 or 6 rolls of snus in his fridge, even though he always helps me gladly with a roll or two...
It is my hope it would still be possible to somehow get hold of snus in late July.... if all doors are closed by then I will have no choice but to make a quick trip to Sweden and stock up.

this may be a dumb question but i've heard flying in Europe is super cheap.. couldn't you guys catch a ride to sweden.. load up.. and fly back home?

No, it is legal. You can bring up to 1 kg of tobacco in hand luggage.
Flying in Europe can be cheap but it might be damn difficult to get a cheap ticket on short notice.

Very true, but it would cost me about 500 quid to do a round trip for 3 or 4 kilo

Good! It appears only Finland has set a different limit - max.3 rolls per person.... I would suggest taking a ferry to Sweden instead of a flight.... because there should not be any limits to what and how much you can bring on board and there are no luggage screening either.

I've pre-empted this by getting in a load of snuff. From using 10 portions of Extreme a day I'm now down to 3 with snuff usage. I've got 2 rolls left so it'll last me 100 days. Thereafter I'll use Oliver twists about 3 times a day.

I cannot wait to see odenssnus.ru coming online. As far as I understand, we should be getting our Oden's snus very easily then (which is not the case for me I think as getting something tobacco through customs is nearly impossible here) but we'll see.

What to do when it gets low... there are a few options and there will be (at least for a while):
1. Order from northerner (V2) or, if you are brave enough to try the US warehouse, you can order Oden's and Gotlands.
2. Wait and see if you can order from Odenssnus.ru
3. Book the cheapest Ryanair flight you can get from DU. to anywhere in Sweden. Return on the same day (so that you do not need to stay overnight).

My plan is the same as Jan's.

Luckily I have a supply for 4 months left. Cutting back or fully switching to chew wouldn't work for me long-term.

I can settle for just using v2. I love Offroad Liquorice lös, and Nordstrommen Brandy Alexander. Offroad white portions are ok, and phantom brown is a substitute for Ettan.

'Settle' is the operative word, I'm not happy about all this.

I have about 80-90 cans stashed, so I don't need to worry just yet. But to be honest I don't see the point of hoarding - its the medium to long term you should think about.

I'm with you all the way on this. You can still get Odens as well on Northerner and I do believe that GN will come up with the goods on a new website. It's a major pain in the ass for him but it can be overcome.
