Northerner Poll

Hey everyone.

Just went to northerener and if you go to their web page, at the bottom right you can take part in a flavor survey.

They say they are working with a new snus company and there are alot of cool flavors to choose from

On september first the flavor will be selected and one winner will recieve 30 free cans.

They also have the 20% off Goteborgs Products i mentioned earlier in another post.

Let us know which flavor you voted for.

I VOTED FOR DRAGONFRUIT.

Guess one can only hope which ever flavor is picked it doesnt taste like the offroad kinds. lol. only my opinion.

I voted for dragonfruit also, as I can imagine it to be very clean if done right. Methinks tamarind would be a nice flavor also.

I would think cactus/lime would prob be interesting too but i went dragonfruit because ive had that flavor of drink before and it was delicious!!!!

Some of those flavors though are too over the wall for me like anything with chili/mexican...whatever mexico tastes like....as long as im not stuck on the toilet for an hour because the taste of mexico was bad....lol.

on a side note... anyone else notice they are offering that chili in like 6 varients? one would assume they think quite highly of the thought, though to be honest, it sounds like ass to me. i wonder why so many chili offerings, and no " manderin orange or kiwi or well, you get the idea...

mark my words, the winner is gonna be one of the chili's .....they are pushing it WAY to hard to be " objective and open "

I think from a marketing standpoint, Dragon fruit would be the logical choice.
I feel the name conjures the sort of imagery/mythology that us snusers love so much. However, from a more practical standpoint I think a chili snus would sell more cans and get a better reaction from the masses.

I would never in my life try a chili flavored snus..... that just makes me already want to throw a can of it away if its the winner.

If a chili flavored snus win ill buy a can just so i can throw it in the trash.

Come on people, if you like chili i guess vote for it, but be reasonable here.

yeah the pepper version... lol.

But i mean i think that natural tobacco has enough spice in it. Thats just my opinio... idont know why you would think chili pepper flavored snus would sell better than melon, dragonfruit or cactus/lime.

I think some of these should be made seasonal flavors of course but if only one could win chili doesnt make since to me.

Sure it would sell because it is different and people would have to try it out. But i doubt it could be a standout snus for a long time or if its a new company i doub it could last as the flagship flavor.

Now yeah some people have tried flavored snus' and hated them and this probably doesnt matter to them. I just think its nice to see interesting new flavors for a snus.

And yes i would bet chili wins too though, damn it, its part of what almost if not 50% of the choices.....LAME!!!!

I voted Honey. I think a nice pure flavor of honey would be great with snus. It just FEELS traditional, in a Swedish sense. Don't you think?

one question though.... what the hell is salvia? i thought for a second it said saliva and wondered how in the hell you could market spit flavored snus, now with more drool flavor.......

and why the hell don't any of the chili options have it mixed with lime, which is like.... the single biggest flavor combo in history for eithor chili OR lime

Salvia is a legal hullicinegen, at least in most of the states here.

Its like a 5 min HUGE trip. Just go to youtube and type in Salvia Trip.

But its a very herbal taste. I am not a huge fan of the way it tastes...weird combo for snus.

Just to let you know...its nearly impossible to OD on salvia and its being made illegal because it scares the hell out of some parents.

But just google it or watch people trip balls on youtube.

Its strictly indeginous to mexico and is a member of the sage family....like the mint plant. Also known as diviners sage.

You know damned well it's V2. Any other respectable snus company would kick you out of their office for suggesting those flavors :^P

I voted honey, but it doesn't really matter. Whatever flavor they make, it's bound to taste bad ;^)

I dont like flavor snus so much either but i mean if they come out with something new .... i.e. a flavor you cant get anywhere else ill try it.

I think too many people on here are quick to pass judgement based on what some people say and i think that actually hurts the industry.

Snus needs to be diverse because everone has different tastes. Some snus others told me not to get because they didnt like it i actually ended loveing.

But whatever... kinda wish i wouldve voted cactus/lime.

I'll bet you a roll of snus it's V2. Further more, I'll bet a roll of snus that V2 makes Elixyr, or at the very least has given heavy technical advice in the manufacture of the snus.
