Do you mess with your pris?

I am finding, as I am using this fresh can of Ettan Loose that if I use the icetool and put the pris in, and just leave it there, its not that fun of an experience. I took it out after an hour and a half and put another one in and am mashing the heck out of it with my lip and its way better!

I don't manipulate it with my fingers if that's what you mean, but I constantly poke it with my tongue, and squash it with my lip. You get much more flavor that way, and it's something to do instead of just sitting there :^D

At first I left it alone until I learned how to manage the stuff. Nowadays I actually flip the stuff around like it were a portion, Move it from one side to the other, etc.

I enjoy the crumbs immensely. I tend to poke at the pris with the tip of my tongue. More flavor this way, IMHO.

A great way I've found to taste the snus more is to kind of inflate your top lip around the snus and let the air back in to your mouth. Has the added bonus of keeping the pris dryer too. Works with portions and los.

Good Lord, yes, I mess with my pris'. I use my tongue to position it and break off little bits to suck on. Sometimes, I eat the whole pris over the course of a couple hours. It's great to suck the loose tobacco on the tongue.

Last time I went to the bar, I had a fresh pris of general los in. Did a shot of Jagermeister and somehow managed to swallow the entire fresh pris along with the shot. I have NEVER tossed my cookies so violently :lol:

I tend to use my lower lip to push up on the pris. When I use Gotlands Gul it occasionally will crack up a little in the first half hour or so. I push my bottom lip past my upper teeth to reset it, which also tends to release more flavor.

Yeah, I poke and prod a bit, just to keep it managed in place and to add moisture if the pris is getting too dry. I think the initial tendency is to play with it way too much and far too forcefully - that's why the suggestion generally goes to leave it alone when you're first getting your lös legs (footloose?)... anyway - once you get the hang of leaving it alone then whatever works for you is open game. The leave-it-alone mantra is really just to get one comfortable with the subtle art of snusing loose.
