Snus/Orignial Snuff Question

What’s weird is I remember a HUGE nic hit from it and am shocked that many find it weak.

Nasal snuff can easily give you a feeling as if your head might explode, but that isn't due to the nicotine. It's the flavorings (menthol, camphor etc.) that make you dizzy. That's nice per se, but it doesn't help you, if you're addicted to nicotine. Nonetheless I think, that nasal snuff indeed gives slightly more nicotine than nicotine-gums, so it's no 'placebo'. It's even mostly made from high-nicotine-Kentucky-tobacco, but it's also simply not enough space in the nose to give a real nicotine-kick. A 5-gram-tin may easily last you for weeks, while the same amount of snus is used within half a day.

Nasal snuff is a great!
Snuff a tabak quickly make Your minds clear and feel happy. It`s hard to say , that tabak addictive.
I have in my work desk always snuff, now its Poschl-Schmalzer "south fruits" and "Koenigsprise" , at home my favorite :President.
I recommend to try it!

OK, so I'm a sucker for new narcotic experiences.... :twisted:

On the back of reading this thread, I ordered some dry snuff - Wilsons of Sharrow Cherry Menthol, Crumbs of Comfort and SP, along with some Toque methol and esspresso, and a brand called Snus Ice peppermint...

The Snus Ice is musty and dry and nasty, but the rest? Pretty damn cool! I get a light nic kick and a pleasant aroma while breathing for 1/2 hour or so, and the clearest sinus ever on the menthol ones!

It won't replace snus in my arsenal of addiction, but I like it - apart from the nasal residue... :lol:

Fancy meeting you here. I couldn't agree more, "Snus Ice" is dry and musty, but only in the bullets and refills. I think we are going to have to put it in the 'Air Seal' tins and give it a better chance. Thanks for the compliments regarding our other snuffs.

As far as snuff sensations are concerned, my only real experience with it was in Mongolia, where a vial and a spoon were passed around and around and around.... after reading this thread it's clear I wasn't using it properly. I was snorting the shit out of it, and by the end of the session, my heart was actually racing and I felt terrible. Not sure if it was my technique or the nature of this Mongolian snuff. I have no idea where it came from, but the stimulant effect was very unpleasant at the time. This has me curious enought to almost order a can though.... thanks for all of the info on brands. I think I might just go ahead and get one

And I thought snus was unladylike!!?? Thanks to you guys for sparking my interest of snuff, I went on snuffstore.co.uk and ordered a few flavors to try out and I am definitely a FAN! I got: rose, raspberry, blueberry and chocolate. I also got the zuku zee bullet which contains WHITE snuff which blows out neon green. (Sounds gross, I know) I actually wish I could find MORE snuff that is white in color. I'd rather be accused of using cocaine rather than snuff! (That's the woman part of me talking, who hides her snus and I guess now, snuff addiction because they are 'MEN' items) Since I wasn't comfortable using snus at work, even the mini portions, I can now go in the bathroom to get my fix. It's a nice, DISCREET way to get a little nic, but I won't be giving up my 'at home' snus addiction anytime soon.

Unladylike???? About the only thing I can remeber about my great grandmother and one of my great aunts is their snuff boxes. Can not say I remember the neon green stuff though
