I am, yeah, but snus2 have a deal on knox stark that was very good value - 2 rolls effectively the same cost as say a roll of skruf stark at snus.de - shame I can't pay for the damn thing though.

Maybe a coincidence but I heard Asda are being trained on a new protocol for selling tobacco. Apparently it will have to be in locked non-see-through cabinets and all they can present customers with is a price list. Then when the customer has chosen the staff have to get the tobacco for the customer in a careful manner so as not to expose children to the sight of the tobacco products uneccessarily. We also get that law here in finland at the beginning of 2012 and it's just stupid. I don't smoke anymore but still think that it won't help at all if we don't see the tobacco products and children will just be more interested about smoking because buying under the desk makes it more intriguing. Welcome to the party guys.

That's been the law here in Ontario for a couple of years now. All tobacco products are kept in opaque cabinets behind the counter. When purchasing cigarettes, etc. it is supposed to be done in such a way that the package is not visible to anybody else but I only found 1 store that adhered to that rule. The owner would palm the smokes and carefully hand them to me, looking around furtively. Was pretty funny in once sense, but in another sense it almost felt like we were making an illegal transaction. Has to make one wonder what's next.

It's so ridiculous...the next step is, of course, to make it illegal to use tobacco products where minors could see you. Turning all tobacco users into people scared of letting someone see them. Yet, we allow our teenage daughters to walk around dressed in highly inappropriate clothing, have movies that popularize all sorts of unsavory behavior, and of course, no end of alcohol commercials during primetime television shows. If there is one thing that is detrimental physically and socially, it is alcohol. It poisons the body, destroys families, and kills innocent people. But that's OK, just don't try to use smokeless tobacco products. My libertarian views get stronger with each passing year.

If I have to quit, I'll quit. I'm fed up with all this EU snus nonsense, easiest way to address it is to stop being a part of it.
