I started an art thread in People/World. I figured people could put art of all kinds in there. The first post has a short guide for linking images to urls, and I have a few of the banners I made included. That way it isn't exactly official, but they're there for people to use, and they can show off their digital skills generally. There's some concern about pissing off other sites by advertising SnusOn, and by keeping it unofficial, there's no editorial responsibility for us. If you want kissing lesbians, great! but that would be hard to officially endorse if you understand where I'm coming from. Keeping it unaffiliated will allow greater freedom for everyone to express themselves.

I like a bunch of them... to be used on different boards... some are more formal than others. The only question I have is will I have the nerve to use the one with the two girls kissing? It is sooooo cool... but it may not go over well on some of the boards I hang on.

Yah it was pretty cool. Birdman and Al Capone were the main focus of the thing since they were so popular in the media. Apparently in 1969 the native Americans occupied it, took it over and protested some bill that ****ed native americans or something. They actually took over alcatraz as a hippie stronghold sort of lol.

Yea, that one turned out kind of dark, and I haven't made any recent trades to get me to update it :^D Also, I'm having an issue with too many good traders(Is that bad?). I've constrained my banner to be no bigger than 600*100. I think that's a good size, that doesn't blowup most displays you could anticipate people using. Keeping the font interesting, and fitting all the people in has become a challenge. I may have to drop back to a plain font to get everything to fit. I'm not sure how I'm gonna handle it yet. I could drop the names that aren't around anymore, but that's not really fair, and like seeing the old names :^)

I started using a graphic on the old board due to heavy constraint of text characters. I quickly ran out of room, so I started using a banner to recognize everyone.

It's too bad you can't put these (or a link to these) in the settings area where your referral code is found... another thought is to include these in a new members packet. I don't know what is being sent out when someone registers, but you may want to include an FAQ along with where these are in the FAQ. That ecig forum board has very detailed info on everything... no, I'm not saying to copy them... but you should take a look at how they are set-up structurally. You have to make so many posts to increase your levels of access to their board. Based on the spam problems.... I can see why they do this.

These are just my thoughts... I could be wrong... back in the 1970's I had a Radio Shack Model I and I remember telling people that home computers were just a passing fad

I've been giving that some thought. My hangup is sticky overload. All the forums are getting top heavy from stickies. What does everyone else think? An art thread is definitely in order, but what are your thoughts on stickies?

From what we have in this thread I'm very happy... in fact, I'll be able to pick and choose the sig I want to use... the only thing that may be problematic is the size. Forums have different size requirement on the size of your signature file. Other than that, I think what has been done here is really great!

PS: Yea... I got one working on the ecig forum. Lots of options for me to use in photobucket. Also, had to add my referral code on the site I was inserting the file. I thought I could do that on photobucket but can't!
