I bought a can of the Long Cut on a whim today. Grabbed a bunch, stuck in my upper craw and no need to spit yet. Never been a big chew guy, but this is pretty good..

I have found the Natural fine cut to be the absolute finest American snuff in existence.

Tried the long cut today and It is good and sweet. but I guess I have become accustomed to the snus because it actually was too sweet for me. While a friend of mine who likes wintergreen chew say he likes it very much and plans to make it his main chew. I actually am curious about the fine cut, but dont think i can bring myself to by some. I guess my sweedish snus has a hold on me.

When I dip, it's pretty much Copenhagen LC. I have tried the Redman straight LC, and the Natural FC. I thought the straight was good, but I never finish a tin, too sweet for me. I thought the Natural FC might be comparable to Copenhagen. Perhaps it was just my can, or possibly the difference between swedish and American snuff curing methods, but the Natural was fairly dry. I tried a few dips and tossed the can. I am going to try it (natural) again. The nice thing about redman is low TSNA, and a very decent price.

Take it you arent a (dipper).

Redman is fire cured and is made like AMERICAN SNUFF but still has the lowest tsna's than any other american snuff product.

The natural is a nice salty tobacco flavor. the str8 is ok but i hate str8 flavor snuff no matter the company.

Any of you picking it up and comapring it to snus should not do so.

American Snuff and Snus are in no way the same product other than its lip tobacco.

Comparing this to the snus you use will in effect be inaccurate towards the quality and flavor of the product.

I just got back from a work trip. In Atlanta I bought two cans of Marlboro Long Cut Natural and it is very good. I also like the can it comes in. It is the best dip can I have ever seen--all metal. I wonder if they will sell this nationwide. The last time I got it, it sold inexpensively. Now they are asking 3.80, but you get a coupon so you get two.

Here in Lagrange Georgia Marlboro is selling at .99 a can.

I personally think its garbage. Too dry and nothing like what i loved to use.

The can is the best snuff can made for america. It is really world class... too bad the tobacco isnt.

                    But thats only my opinion

I got a can of the fine cut natural last year, but I didn't much like it. I was looking for a Copenhagen flavor at a reduced price($1.29 at the time). The RedMan had a light flowery taste to me. Not bad, but not at all what I was looking for.

I've only had one can of Marlboro dip that I picked up while passing through Atlanta. I'll agree that the tin is top notch. Even better than the 1847 tin. I quite enjoyed the dip too (I bought the long-cut straight)

Wow Grim, Tobacco must not be taxed as high in Georgia as the Redman goes for around $3.80 in Wisconsin.

Those low TSNA reports on Redman were for the air cured CHEWING tobacco of the RedMan brand..........unless I'm missing some new report.

I personally like the way its sort of dry. I like Timberwolf for the same reason. They're all prolly low in TSNA cuz they're Swedish Match products.
