Gottlands Grey

I got a can of portions of the Gottlands Grey. Surprised to see no ashtray lid on it. Can was not sealed. Lid popped right off. Taste was ok. The Anise flavor was not overwhelming, but it was strong. I don't prefer this snus. But maybe with coffee its a bit like having a biscotti. Its not as tasty as an anise flavored Tropical Oliver Twist. I guess I am finding what I like which is the likes of Ettan, Grov, Roda Lacket, Gotesborg Rape, General... Standard Snus I guess.

Yet to try the yellow. Its coming and I am anxious after seeing the posts on here.

I don't think much of the grey portions but the grey loose is really good. I think you will enjoy the yellow portions if you like pure tobacco type snuses

it tastes like black licorice to me and i hate the stuff. i couldnt finish the tin. love all other gotlands but this one

never had gotlands grey but i got some the gotlandsgul (yellow) in los and i like it. Still think ill find something i like better. Flavor is subdued and really doesnt come through for like 30 mins then its great but still not a very strong flavor.

Heh, I don't like licorice, I know I don't so I avoid those with a anise/licorice flavor description, unless, like Roda Lacket or General Onyx, it's really more of a "scarcely detectable background note.

I like it a lot also. I prefer the Gul, but the Grå is in my top 5 also.

I'm sad to say I don't like the Yellow or the Gray. I sound like Dr. Seuss when I discuss how I feel about this snus. The yellow's too bitter, like some mossy forest critter. The gray, of strong anise, makes me prefer the taste of my valise.
