    wow northerner

Despite my credit card mysteriously having charges on it just a few hours after my first order through northerner, I decided to order through them again. It was an order totaling about 16 cans. EVERY and i stress the word EVERY (notice the caps) can was damaged, smashed, scraped, and in one case broken open. My can of thunder coffee, which i was very excited about had a large jagged chunk of can missing with a few portions loose in the box. I'm very disapointed and realize why most people complain about northerner now. I can't seem to find my camera but I'm currently trying to load some pictures from my new samsung galaxy 5.0 player. I sent them an email and I seriously hope something is done. I can handle a few scratches, I'm not one to sit and admire a can, but when ALL of them arrive in this condition.... i dont even....wow. I've never seen a complaint like this about northerner im wondering....has it happened to you? Or is this such a common problem that noone even posts about it anymore and just accepts it.

Is this something that's happened during transit do you think?

To be honest im not sure. The package came yesterday afternoon and the box doesnt seem to be in bad condition. The corners are a bit pushed in and rounded off if you understand what I mean...they're not....very sharp bu the box doesnt seem to be smashed or anything.

Just wondering whether or not the box could have been compressed in any way - it wouldn't take a lot to smash a roll of snus. I can't imagine Northerner sending out cans in that condition.

Lol I actually didnt live here last december. I really see no damage to the box other than a few dented in corners bu this is just.........wow. My coffee portions are basically useless and the rest are just dented and look like someone just got really pissed off at my cans of snus or something.

I'm debating getting out of bed and going to check the rest of these cans for knuckle marks. It seriously looks like someone went through all of these cans and said "these are going to thunder_snus.... i hate that prick" and just started whaling on them....got tired on the last can and just dug his nail into the seal

Theres no way northerner would ship out tins like that. Blame the shipping outfit. period.

Northerner always takes care of problems like this. But they shouldn't have to. UPS should pay for the damage they do to the packages.

I'm really not too concerned about the situation, I'm not really wanting either UPS or Northerner to refund me or anything but it does seem a bit awkward. On one hand a well established business certainly wouldnt send anything out in this condition, on the other hand....the box seems fine.

Coulda been opened by some asshole as well/ For all of Northerners faults, I'm pretty sure they didn't send the cans out that way. Not sure where your from but if it had to go thru customs it would probably explain it.....

go through customs? I ordered from the US warehouse only and live in the US. Or do i not understand customs at all? I thought customs were only things coming from another country.

Mighta been one of the street toughs from SM.

This video may shed some light on what happened to the cans. Watch it from beginning to end. Send a copy of it to Northerner if you wish.

For quite a while now norhterner has been useing white boxes that are more appropriate in size for 10 tins, or a larger box for 20 tins and so on. The rolls fit so well I imagine they might even be make them especially for northerner to ship snus in. So if it wasn't a white box then UPS did some repackageing.

With that said.....those new boxes provide a nice fit for the rolls but offer no cushion. And there is no packing materials used either. So a decent smash could mess up some tins I suppose. Either way.....northerner would never send out tins in that condition. Blame the shipping outfit.....again.
