I love this stuff, to me the portion material seems softer than general white which is a big plus, but maybe its just in my mind and they use the same material. Very good snus. I bought two rolls.

What do I just moisten it with distilled water?

Cutting portions open sounds like a poor way, economically speaking, to achieve loose plus as has been pointed out here many times the formulations are so different that portion tobacco mixtures simply don't work well as loose regardless of how moist they are.

I know loose is a mixture fine and coarse grinds. I take it with portions may that not be so.
