Help needed urgently!

I am new to this forum and I have spent a couple of hours today trying to navigate it. I already see it as a place I will definitely return to many times!

I just moved to the UK from Sweden, and I have been using snus regularly for the last 15 years, so my experience of it is vast. My experience of not being able to buy snus is on the other hand non-existing. I love it and I don't see stopping as an option.

I need to buy it from an web-store to get it to United Kingdom, but all the different interpretations of the laws gets me very confused. I am in the middle of trying to get into the normal life, and a shortage of snus is not what I need.
I use one can of General Portion White every day and I only have less than a stock left.

1) I need to place an order with a web-store, but no one is selling to the UK, or am I wrong? I can't find anyone selling this snus or any other snus.
2) I have absolutely no idea on how many cans or "stockar" (10 cans) I can import without having it taken by the customs.

PLEASE give me advice! I would really appreciate it!

You can buy it at northerner.com I believe but the customs thing is just a chance you take.

well FYI you are gonna have a helluva time getting Swedish Match products in UK .. unless you have friends in Sweden to ship them to ya. but i think you can get Skruf/Odens/Luckys/Thunder/Jaks pretty easy

one of the UK fellas should be along shortly to steer ya in the right direction

Yes, I believe I will have to have friends shipping them to me. But that will take some time. Okey I can do Skruf, did that for a couple of years so I wouldn't mind using them again.

2) Also when I order from the northerner, should I tick (under "show me"):

"Products in US Warehouse only (can be ordered by US and All other customers)"

or

"Products in Europe Warehouse only (all customers except US)"

3) How many "Stockar" (10 cans in a bundle) can I import to the UK without any fuzz?

4) What else do I need to do so that I don't get it stuck in customs?

5) Do I pay VAT on this? How do I pay VAT on this?

i use snus.de but you have to be a member. i find them reliable. maybe try northerner for your first order while you are waiting for a snus.de referral.

I believe that you can order products from the European warehouse so long as they are not made by Swedish Match. Your selection should automatically pop up when you select your country on northerners home page. From what I have seen, sometimes your order will get caught by customs and you will need to pay a lot of money if you decide to pick up your order. I would recommend sticking with small orders like a roll or two or another amount you would be willing to lose if your order is fully taxed.

Hey im in the UK, i use the northerner, you can still get quite a good selection but as mentioned above you cant get any Swedish match products The delivery is pretty good, if you order tomorrow and if what you order is in stock you should have it by the end of the week. I have a few extra cans of Thunder frosted long portions if that helps just PM your address if they are of any interest.

i order 4 cans a week usually but i've ordered a roll recently and it got here fine, with swedish post :-)

@ GoVegan: Have these people that got their snus caught in the customs imported to the UK? How much did they import and from where did they import?

@ southwestsnuser: I saw this Thunder thing. Is it like Granit or more similar to ordinary brown bag General Portion?
Also, how do you order (northerner?) and how many rolls (10 can bundle) can you buy in order to not getting it caught by customs?

When I lived on Malta way long ago, the customs had open every can in a roll that my dear little mother had sent me. They were so dry when they arrived and I was so angry because back then it was no laws prohibiting this country from doing this. Bastards. Anyway, I just went on using dry snus for the rest of my stay, with a minimum of snus every day in order to not run out of it.

9 times out of 10 i use snus.de and if i were you i would order 1 roll of 10 at first...
