So it's not always business and reviews so I decieded to re-bring up a topic which has been raised before, which is the best snus to use with a cold beer if that is indeed your vice of choice. I personaly did not like GENERAL snus when I first tried it but after really understanding its flavor I love it with a cold beer, it's salty flavor is a great compliment to a beer especially with lime in it!

General Onys with a Sessions Lager is fantastic, Lucky Strike pairs well with a good IPA. Had a Roda Lacket with a Cindercone Red ale that hit the spot. Ettan is excellent with a porter...
Essentially I pare down the major characteristics of the brew with the characteristics of the snus.
Maltier beers go better with deeper, earthier snus such as Ettan.
Citrus-heavy snus pair well with lighter brews.
Hop-heavy beers actually seem to go well with more aromatic snus, this can vary widely depending on the exact aromatics and the type of hops used, the citrus notes in cascade hops can pair well with citrus flavored snus, more floarl hops can go well with sweeter snus, like Roda Lacket, Grant or Knox, etc...

Hm.. Whattabout snus and wine?
Yeah, not exactly trying to be offtopic here, but what about snus and wine?
I've been a fan of dessert wines (Port, Sherry, etc.) for quite some time, and have recently discovered that a pris of Roda Lacket Los goes excellently with a glass of ruby (or tawny, for that matter) Port.
Anyone else tried anything like this?
(Hey, 20% alcohol by volume. Wine is NOT for pansies, dammit.)
