The worst thing in the world...

Is sitting around all day waiting for ups to come, especially when you have not had a decent snus in close to a week. My order got delayed a bit because stupid me ordered something that was not in stock, but getsnus was very good about changing my order and shipping it out when I realized my mistake, it just took me 4 days or so before I realized it.

I have a roll of jaks classic strong and wintergreen coming and can't wait...I haven't had either of these in quite a while!!

Point of this post, UPS, hurry the heck up!!! haha

As the only way for me to get Snus is to order from the Northerner or physically fly to Sweden I make sure I always have a prudent reserve of a few months supply in my freezer. So if the mail is delayed I don't need to worry.

That would be nice, good news is here in a few months I will be in a much better financial situation so I will be able to start stocking up. Looking forward to that, not to mention also having a nice variety sitting around!!

I like getting stuff in the mail. It's like Christmas, but you're never exactly sure when Santa's gonna come. It gives you something to look forward to when you come home, but an empty mailbox still holds promise for tomorrow. It's like being a kid all over again :^)

I hate waiting. UPS, at least I've got tracking, so it's not as bad, but the USPS kills me. I suspect it's just the people that do my route at my current house, as I had great service in the next town over years back. I'll be expecting a package, and nothing. For days, don't hear a thing, no notices, then I go out and find one saying they've tried to deliver x number of times, and if I'm not home tomorrow, they'll send it back. I've also been home on days off a couple times, seen that a package was out for delivery according to their tracking number, and they don't deliver or give me a notice, then tell me at the post office that they'd knocked on the door and nobody was home. I think the worst was when, for a change, they actually left a notice, and I grabbed it before they came back down the road to do the other side. Wait across the street, and the girl driving the truck says, "Oh, we just figured nobody would be home so we didn't put it in the truck. You'll just have to come get it at the post office." A few things pissed me off about it. First, they didn't deliver my mail until a good hour after the post office was closed, so I had no chance of making the four mile walk there and back. Second, I couldn't get it the next day because I had class, and the post office closes almost immediately after opening. And last, the next Monday was a holiday, so no mail.

My mail men make me rage...

Its even worse waiting for the mail when the postal workers are on strike! My (crappy/last) order with Northerner is sitting somewhere inside a picket line right now.

As a proud rural mail carrier, I'm extremely sad about your experience. We are a dying breed, what with email, etc.... and it kills me when others don't take pride in their job. I would be RAGING at the Post Office about this. They'll try to pawn you off to a "supervisor"...throw your weight around a bit and talk to the Postmaster. Be sure to tell them about your mail carrier "assuming" you're not at home, as well.

I hate to throw a fellow carrier under the bus, but we need to do everything we can to stay viable...
