Being new to this I haven't tried folding yet, but will give it a try.

I've been folding for the past week and decided that I don't like folding. I don't seem to get as much flavor that way

Hand baking is alot easier than it looks/feels when you first do it, once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature. I can open the can, take a pinch, bake it up and pop it in without so much as looking at my hands one time.

I was always a portion guy myself, I liked los but I used to consider it messy and for in house use only, but lately I have just gotten sick of portions, they are rough and papery and irritate my lip, los is velvety smooth and soft, more flavorful and generally moister. I still take portions (mainly use chew though) to work but other than that I just carry a can of los on me, 98% of the time its bla or gotland gul, sometimes ettan or general too.

If you want to try using los when your out and about just carry a travel size pack of moist wipes, after you bake your pris just take a wipe and wipe down your fingers and hands, to remove the pris just go somewhere semi-private(like a bathroom) and spit it out, rinse with water if you so desire, but when I'm using bla or gul I just swallow the pris once the flavor is gone, no need to waste a discontinued snus...

One last thing, when your at home, intentionally make your pris run (mudmouth) by playing with it, then practice how to push and pack it back up with your tongue, it takes some practice to get it right but knowing how to do this is correctly is invaluable when your out in public.

        Happy Lossing!

Hand Baking is definitely the way to go. When I was using Prismasters and Ice Tools the prilla always came out to hard and wasn't comfortable on my gums. I have started shaping the prilla at the same angle my gums run and that is very comfortable second only to the Hillbilly pinch.
