Extra strongs and heartburn?

I only got it with Skruf, not the N&J Strong White, or Thunder Frosted...does skruf have a 'smokey' flavor? I'm not good with picking out flavors.

I don't think so but there is rose oil in skruf. Or could just be the nicotine. Smoke flavor in Swedish is "rökarom". It's listed on my Ettan loose can.

I used to get hiccups when I used too many portions or when I didnt spread them out far enough....

It soon will pass..... wuss

Really for a while I wasnt satisfied unless I got the nicups.

Ahh, I don't think it's the smokey flavor then. Must be something in the skruf that wasn't in the other strongs.

Actually, Skruf might have smoke flavor, they just list flavoring in general on my can, whereas SM lists flavorings including smoke on some of theirs...

pain in my chest. I spit the snus out, and tried to get back to sleep, but the hiccupping was intense, and I was salivating like crazy. It seems like I swallowed a liter of spit laying there. I got up and got a drink, but it didn't really help much, and the heartburn was still pretty bad.

Exactly what I feel, but ONLY with the Skruf! I had tons of spit being generated but the heartburn sensation is only there while the portion is in my mouth. The minute I get rid of it, it goes away within minutes. I need to find out what exactly is in the Skruf that's causing this.

Nicotine relaxes the sphinctor (yes that is what it is called) that is at the top of the stomach and prevents stomach acid/contents from going up the esophogeal tube. I have acid reflux and that is what I had been told by doctors. Best solution, lower the nicotine dosage or consider other dietary/lifestyle changes that might mitigate the reflux effect.

I get an irritated esophagus...not true heartburn. It is a burning feeling that starts in my throat and works it's way down from the smoke flavor. It feels like heartburn....only too high to be real heartburn. I just call it that because of how it feels.

First time I used a Oden's Extreme I got the uncontrollable hiccups lol...
But now it's fine.
I do feel some chest tightness if I'm getting a little too much nicotine though. haha

If I swallow the drip I get massive heartburn from any snus. But I have acid reflux and a bad stomach.
