Buying banned snus on vacation?

We're planning a trip to the bahamas. Is there any reason I can't buy Gustavus, Montecristo, etc and have it shipped there? I'm wondering about how much customs will let me bring back in.

I've heard plenty of discussion about our EU friends doing this, but nothing about my fellow Americans. Any experiences?

if customs sees the montecristo, and realizes it's made from cuban tobacco, they will take that away. The chances of a that happening are pretty small probably.

you could always put a small sticker over the cuba part as monticristo also make Dominican etc cigars/tobacco

When returning from Mexico. I never had a problem with cigars

Sweet! I've gotta figure out my timing so it'll arrive when I'm down there. Not sure about the dependability/timeliness of the delivery folks in the Bahamas...they're a pretty laid back lot down there!
