Cash the preferable payment option?

This is kind of a in general question, not specific to snus. But why is that most of the time I see people buy any sort of tobacco they stick with using cash opposed to any form of card? Before the recent price increase everyone seemed to have that $5 bill specifically ready for a pack. Is there any reason to this? Is this some sort of "maintain" method or convenience, don't feel like seeing it add up in the credit history or something?

You've seen probably 100 people.... can't know about the whoe other lot I think people usually use cash ...... still credit cards aren't as widely used as cash

I always buy everything with a card. I do carry cash in my wallet, but nothing small enough to use for everyday purchases, more for a back up if the card stops working or something. It stems from the fact that my paycheck goes directly to my bank account, and my card is linked to my bank account, so using the card automatically deducts from the account with each purchase, so getting cash out to spend is adding a middle man, not to mention I loathe change, getting it, counting it, just cannot stand change.

I rarely purchase anything with cash. Although I do like to carry four 5 dollar bills with me.

HA! I always only use cash. Never use my credit card unless it for an internet purchase. I even pay for my new cars with cash. Get a great deal too when they see your pocket bluge so much. The car dealers won't let you leave untill they get it. And they can't get it out of my pocket untill they give me the best deal.

Of course, my hobby is a profit making venture and I only accept cash for payment. So I always have cash on hand.

I hate credit cards. I don't do any online banking and such. I don't trust anyone with my $.
