No distracting flavor added, just tobacco goodness. I really like the taste of tobacco, and this Laotian tobacco was happy.

I am so glad!!!!!!! Everyone has a different take on tastes and texture. This one rates. I hope they do well. I just went over two hours and was still loving it. I will be stocking up a little. Let me know again in a week, its been a week for me and it has only gotten better. Straight tobacco and a great one, less salt. I understand Lazer and prima, but that swweet Prima is a second favorite. It was Roda that always melted on me.

I just could never make myself get into Röda, never cared for it. Haven't tried Prima Fint yet either, but don't worry, there's a can in my Northerner box in the fridge.

When it comes to lössnus, I have become very much an Ettan guy---2 rolls of it in this week's delivery. But Pioneer is tempting me to review that situation.

I like Roda, but Prima Fint...well it just doesn't have much of a taste. It's like the non-snus, lol. I am looking forward to trying Pioneer soon ;-)

Very nearly through my first can and it has been a more than satisfactory experience. Granted, I have not tried every snus there is but this stuff strikes me as unique. If you like los give it a try. For a first-time product they have done themselves well.

I finally opened a can of this, and really like it. It is cut really fine, but doesn't mudslide easily. I've had it in for at least 40 min now. Great rich tobacco taste, very earthy. I like it because it doesn't have a heavy (if any) bergamot taste. My one complaint is that the lid is very loose after opening. It doesn't fit well and will probably cause the snus to dry up quickly....but I don't imagine it will last too long ;-)

This and some more Ettan Loose will definately be on my next order.

I just had the chance to try this(Thanks tom502), and I think it's a great snus. It's like Ettan pared down to the essentials, with an earthy, almost cigar like flavor. It does have a peculiar rubbery taste, but it isn't at all offensive. This is a nice compliment to the Gotland plain(That's coming soon, right Jimmy?), that hits on the darker notes, whereas the Gotland is a little lighter in body, and more vanilla than chocolate. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a plainer lössnus, especially one that doesn't have smoke flavor :^)

I am glad so many like it! We need to support the guy's efforts! Although I was waiting to order some more and Getsnus is out, 11 more days until Maryland makes me a criminal!

Ugh, don't remind me... I love the fact that this guy is a small operation. I don't see any need to buy Swedish Match anymore. Everything is covered by the smaller makers. The plain snus was the only thing missing, and Pioneer has that now, and hopefully some Gotland plain on the way. The smaller company's snus tastes less "manufactured" than the big guys do, even the ones that aren't so big, like JTI and BAT. The smaller snuses are a little quirkier, and maybe not to everyone's liking, but they have a character you don't get from the big guys.

so many people like it. I was kind of put off because of the low nic, but now I have to try it.

I have not noticed any difference nic wise.

That said skruf is the only stark I use (and then only occasionally) the rest of the time it is regular strength for me.

No low nic problem for me, and besides, it has that great taste factor to make up for it! Everyone should really take a moment and think about who has made a snus that you really love, then think about the ones who are giving their all to make the next one. The analogy is I would rather have a crafted beer.
