'Can' you spot the difference?

I nnoticed on the Northerner website that the General Onyx can is different from the one you receive in the mail. The opening for the ashray lid is different and the ashtray is smaller (smaller curcumference) on the site.

If you have any cans that are different from the one on the current website feel free to post here.

The cans are different...the one currently posted on The Northerner is what they are shipping. The label on top peels back and supposedly explains the difference in the cans and why they are currently using those cans. Something about running out and having to make more.

This is directed at fishmeat. Are you talking about the ones on the site? Or the one chad posted? As in the one I receive is the temp one and the one on the net is the regular can, which has run out. I received the one Chad is showing except the side is black, not silver.

They should continue back to that design after I guess they deplete the reserve of cans they are using at the moment. I like the big catch top, classy...Onyx is still good no matter what can it comes out of as long as its fresh. Sucks that the Northerner is charging $5 a can now...

$4.85 AUS, I hope this doesn't continue. Once most of my brands reach $5 AUS I'll have to start searching for others. The price is one of the main reason's I keep snusing. That said, I've started using Los more now which lasts much longer so if los reaches $5 AUS it wont bother me as much.

The smaller catchlid is a result of the over-demand for larger catchlids. The regular (larger) lids will recur when Swedish Match gets the inventory in stock. I remember when the large lids for General Ekstra Sterk were temporarily replaced with small ones a few years ago.

I ordered 5 cans of the onyx and got the smaller lided ones.. I was upset but the flavor made up for it. It's a great tasting product.

I can understand the disappointment with the smaller lid for Onyx, but please, please take them off my General! I call em PACT cans because they slap on the warnings huge on the catch lid and sides... no es bueno D:

I think Gemeral Onyx is one of my favourite portions though I always feel a bit ill when I use one after having something else during the day. At the moment I only have Onyx and blå so maybe it's just the two brands, what are your thoughts?
