    Caffeine/Nicotine....would you buy....?

Okay folks, here's a new one.

After Elixyr Energy snus going away and the obvious lack of a snus that blends caffeine and nicotine, I'm spitballing some ideas with a few companies about a new product that will contain both caffeine and nicotine. If we could get something like this put together and released into the snus market, would you be interested?

    The General Idea....

    A regular sized snus portion.
This snus will contain caffeine and nicotine.
Regular tobacco flavor (or open to suggestions)
Not smelling or tasting funny (as Elixyr did have that approach to many people)

Why not make it a coffee portion that actually has caffeine in it? I think that would sell at least for the novelty of it...enough to cover the costs of a first run. Make it with a certain type of coffee and market it that way. I suppose if the tobacco is good enough and the flavoring is right (manufacturers have gotten this down before) then a coffee portion already has a niche. One that contains caffeine would yet hit another niche.

Other than that, I prefer the drinking of the beverage along with the snus. There's something about the liquid when caffeine is involved for me.

I would like a coffee caffeinated portion snus. Sounds delicious!

No. I like my caffeine the old fashioned way. Sweet sweet coffee. I might have to give up a cup or two to make room for the snus....

I might try it but it would never be a regular thing for me....and if it smells like cat urine you can totally count me out.

There is still Boost on the market, with 20mg of caffeine and 6mg nicotine per dry mini portion.

One problem with caffeine is that you need something to mask the bitterness. Crush up a 1/4 no-doz tab (50mg caffeine) and mix it up with a plain los snus and you will probably have a nasty tasting prilla. You'll have to either sweeten it and/or combine a good flavor where bitterness is expected.

Some root beer recipes use caffeine to impart some bite to the flavor. I might try a caffeinated root beer snus, but I suspect that I would be in a minority.

Doesn't Northerner Boost already do that?(Edit, 'Oh, hi there previous post that also mentions Northerner Boost making my question pointless. Nice to meet you.') I also prefer to drink my coffee for caffeine as opposed to snusing for caffeine but odds are, if the snus tastes nice and has the right amount of nicotine for my taste I would buy it, I'm not big on flavoured snus but I occasionally throw in a can or two every so often. Pretty sure there's been a lot of talk about coffee flavoured snus ever since it went 'International'. Maybe it just doesn't taste nice?

Not for me. I prefer to keep my vices separate. As was said above, caffeine is bitter, and for anything to be more than a placebo, it would make a nasty tasting snus.

Coffee is inherently bitter. A coffee flavored snus with a little caffeine boost would definitely be something I'd try.

I don't really get a caffeine boost. The caffeine would have to be so high, it would make my mouth pucker. I can drink a pot of coffee and sleep like a baby.

I would buy it. Also like the idea of a coffee flavor with caffiene

I would say yes, I would buy it. However, the level of caffeine would have to be worth it to make sense. 20mg does nothing - that's less than a can of Coke. Give me something with 100-200 mg and now we're talking.

I would definitely try it. I wake up every morning with a sterk and a Pepsi max. If it was a sterk with noticeable caffeine sign me up.

Same here. Hmmmmm. Maybe absorbing it directly into the bloodstream would be different. I don't know.

I would think it would sell, but I guess I'm just old fashioned in that I take my caffeine in my coffee and my nicotine in my snus
