what. WHAT? how could it possibly have poor sales?! i mean i get that swedish match has the market by the balls, but its always seemed to me that the gul was a popular snus. at least on this forum im pretty sure its been the mainstay #1 snus for a lot of us. WTF. i really cant even believe it, every snus ive loved has now bit the dust (at least for americans.) i just never expected the gul to go.

Yea, I know. Snus that just has bergamot without smoke is rare a hell. The only other ones are LD, and I guess Gustavus; neither of which are available to Americans. Gotland Gul was pure class, and I can't believe it didn't sell.

and even now, almost a year later im still lamenting the loss of those 2. i have a can left of ld los, but gustavus was by far my favorite. nothing else in the bergamot snus world had the same flowery flavor. couldnt be beat. now no more gul! oh woe is me. mondo woe.

I absolutely love this snus, it is at the very top of my favorites, #1. But, sadly I dont use it as much as I would like to, because once its gone, its gone. If they did a limited release run of it, id buy 5 rolls and put em in the freezer. Right now I only have 2 cans stored away, and little more than half of one in my snus fridge.

I stumbled across this and was going to pay a premium to get a roll as the snus is a bit pricey and the shipping is killer but I really like this snus. After signing up I went to place the order and it wouldn't go. Turns out the software they use could not verify my age so they requested I scan and send them a copy of my drivers license. That was just one hoop too many for me so I gave it a pass. Checked just before posting and it says it is still in stock.

Yeah, that was a tipping point for me, too. I knew it was crazy but might be the last chance I can get my hands on more. I've one last can to savor but the fun of finding a new snus favorite has some great appeal.

I have my favorites and all, but gul cannot be replaced. I might end up buying some after all, even if its just one roll. That damn shipping is killer though. Idk, I guess I just gotta suck it up, maybe work some overtime or something. I hate having adult sig packages shipped to my house though cause im usually not available to sign for it.

Its killing me though, Im going to bake a pris of it to mellow out, just the smell from the can alone is heaven.

I'd pay it if I had the money. That's $5.50 per tin shipped. Not like the good old days, but not unreasonable either. You can spend that for a pint at the pub, and it's gone in a half hour. $5.50 in snus lasts much longer. Hopefully, they'll release it on a limited basis at least, but I wouldn't count on it. If I had the cash, I'd be buying all the Gotland I could get, and squirreling it away in the freezer.
