That would be so cool, I wish they could.

But with the exception of the few limited videos on YouTube, they really don't let much out.

When I was in Sweden and toured the Swedish Match factories they were very insistent about no film/pictures inside the actual production area. They're very cautious about it. They're not afraid to show people in person, but maybe it's related to trade secrets.

That being said, I bet a smaller company would do it - like AG Snus, or GN Tobacco, one of the newer folks maybe.

          Exactly.

When I was there, we got to take a few pictures but only in places like the top of the loose packaging floor. The reason is that most of the manufacturing processes of portion snus, between the different manufactures, are trade secrets hence the reason why a Gotlands portion looks much different from a General portion. Swedish Match allowed me to see the portion machinery but I couldn't take any pictures of it.

          It's pretty cool though! ;-)

Yeah, they tightened it up, I came a year after you did and they didn't allow pics anywhere inside the factory. In the lobby and that was it.

The History Channel had a very short segment about snus on Modern Marvels years ago. It wasn't too detailed though.

This is a clip I could find but all it did was talk about cigarettes. Still pretty interesting.

I'm trying to find a torrent for it but apparently no one has it around. I may buy the DVD to see it.

                  Found a link.

Wait 50 seconds then "Regular Download" will appear and you can get it. Takes about 20 minutes for a free user.

Thought it was cool to see it on TV, a place I'd been.

yeah I guess, they don't want other to see their "tools of trade"
                            ....

I guess.... and yes the Swedish snus is unique in its way... they must have some secrets, that the U.S still don't implement
