Poor, poor naive soul. This is the biggest and best snus forum there is - we even have manufacturers as members - everyone is watching. Snus manufacturers, big tobacco, FDA, government, competition, anti tobacco(especially), other forums - they are all watching. At all times, before posting, please keep this in mind.

I've gone across the different snus sites and I think our best bet would be to go with snuscentral. If we can get enough people in on this we can ship it for free if our combined cost for snus is over $300. In the absence of others planning it all, I'll just throw this out there:

1. Only order in rolls. I know it would be nice to be able to order 1 of every tin you havent tried but with lots of differentiation there is a high chance of human error in the ordering and in the shipping to individuals. Plus its time consuming.
2. Tentatively lets go with snuscentral and aim for the $300 mark for the free shipping. It doesn't hurt that they have specials for ettan OP, thunder coola, and general los
3. We have to choose someone to actually order all of the snus from a state with low taxes. I could take all the information down for the ordering and organize it in excel if you guys want and I could send it off to the individual who is actually doing the ordering itself
4. If we get the free ship and reduced tax we could save a good amount of money as a whole, especially if we use USPS flat rate domestic boxes to actually ship out the snus to those who want it

I think this would be a pretty sweet way to get a lot of snus in pre-PACT style

The snus companies aren't against us - these prices/taxes/shipping rates aren't their call, so a bulk order they may work with us.

And I'm jealous of Alabama and their tax rate.

1. A point person in a low tax state to help folks in higher tax states and to help reduce shipping cost

2. A point person in Europe who can help those who want unavailable snus

I think the number of folks on each order should be limited (at least at first)......................getting all the various orders straight is not as easy as it may seem........there will be mistakes from the supplier..............lost parts of the shipment..................the point person may receive a tax bill at the end of the year for all the snus (depending on who supplies it.............Northerner will include the taxes.............but will also record the sale..............anything out of the ordinary- like 600 rolls a year-may draw attention).

Probably the best thing is to try a small test run and see how it works.

For #2 we could do
(a) a ten person sampler. The point man buys one roll of each unavailable snus everybody pays 1/10 the bill + shipping and gets a can of each.

(b) a five person roll order- Order what you want by the roll and pay the point person's cost + shipping to you

The pay off for the point person in both #1 and 2 is that they would get the bonus points (and thus free snus) for their efforts.

Back to the original post, 100 bucks for 20 cans. Order from snuscentral. I just got 80 cans for $225 which included shipping. Only one roll of "economy" snus. (offroad cranberry)
If you like trying different kinds, add a couple rolls of the Bag 'O Snus to the order. I ordered a roll of mixed loose and got stuff that they don't even sell on the website to the U.S. like LD Los. I only got about 2-3 cans of "economy" snus in the roll, and I'm greatly pleased.
I figure by doing it this way, I'll only have to order every 9-10 months. That equal out to less than 30 bucks a month!
Ordered on a Thursday nite, and it was at my workplace on Monday morning. Couldn't be happier.
