If you're in U.S Northerner.com won't charge you anything extra since they're not allowed.
Thanks. I guess they just want everyone to smoke.

Northener has a warehouse in Europe too.
But I was asking you if you're paying extra taxes to the customs whenever you order something from Europe.
(or do they have all product available in the U.S warehouse too?) That's probably why you don't pay anything extra.
And yes Buysnus.com does charge extra taxes, since the V2 Julesnus is listed at $2.98 and the price increases to $8.8 when I log in.

I get it now.
But why's then the huge difference between the price they sell it to US and the price that they sell it in Europe?

I'm in the EU and BuySnus quotes me the same figure precious007 gets for Jule Los but the Northerner EU warehouse is nowhere near as expensive...
Title Quantity Stock Tobacco tax Price Price inc. Sales tax
Gotländskt Julesnus, Loose 1 Yes $ 2.55$ 3.82$ 4.78 (25%)
Maybe Buysnus miscalculated the EU price for it (when adding Swedish tobacco tax and EU sales tax) ?
Edit --- Doh! Missed the point have to add together $4.78 for the snus and EU sales tax and then a further $2.55 for the Swedish tobacco tax which is $7.33 so that's not that far off BuySnus so the price really is quite high with taxes in EU
Thinking about it the tobacco tax will be higher for los as there're more tobacco in los cans than in portion cans.

I wonder if this holds true for folks who live in the EU.................Otherwise this has got to be some sort of glitch in the system...............I'd write them and ask..............it can't hurt.................but in the end you are not missing much with the Jules (certainly not an $8 snus)
I don't exactly know how the law applies for tobacco products but I'll surely inform myself. (What I do know is that all EU countries allow a certain amount of tobacco being shipped from other countries)
That I don't know. How does that compare with typical snus. Is it significantly more? If so, I'd say it's likely a typo. Julesnus isn't significantly more expensive that regular snus. I don't remember exactly, but if it costs more, it's no more than tens of cents, not dollars or anything.

It's just the Swedish taxes that we pay. With private inner-EU-imports of all sorts one always has to pay the taxes of the country from where the goods are sent, and the vendors have no chance to circumvent that. No need to declare anything to the tax office.
$8 (or approx. €6) is on the high side, even for a can of high quality lössnus, but not that much.
It simply is that bad in the EU.
Cheers!

Seems so .. still quite expensive considering the shelf price.
I'll have to see why they're charging such high taxes. :-|
and the vendors have no chance to circumvent that
What is funny though is that when we order from the US (dip for example that's not available in the EU warehouse) we don't pay ANY extra taxes.
And to be honest I've had several orders of snuff from the US the taxes I pay to the customs here is just pocket change.
