I like it pretty well, but I'm not the best to judge. Neither portions, nor General are my favorite snuses, but I have been coming around to General a bit more lately. The new tin is pretty sharp, but honestly, I think I prefer standard portions to the long shape. It isn't a big deal, but given a choice I think I'd go with standard.
Its my daily go to snus. Fastest tins I've gone through yet. Wish it were around before pact - I'd have rolls of it in the freezer. Hopefully the US retailers will start to carry it (Tinder Box etc), but i won't hold my breath.
I find the flavour of the Long portion tends to take longer to develop than the original General Portion. Not so mouthwatering straight away, but overall I am still happy with the 3 rolls I have in the freezer!
Another positive vote from me based on one can I got as sampler in my last batch. Always been a fan of General, and I only use portions, and it ticks all the boxes for me - great flavour, just the right amount of nicotine, and the portion size and shape are perfect for my mouth.
I got a can of 01 at the same time, and I love that too. If I had to choose between the two I'd probably go with General, but it's a tough call so my next order will be a roll of each so I can alternate and keep things interesting.
But I can safely say if I could only have one snus in my life, I'd be quite happy for it to be General Long.
A lot like the Got's portions in terms of moisture but if you wet it a bit it's similar to regular General portions. I really like it as it seems to taste more like the General los than the original portions and doesn't give me that scratchy feeling in my throat. I agree with muddy that it's one that you can settle down with. I wonder how it's selling in Sweden.
I've heard from quite a few retailers that it's doing really well - better than expected. I'm waiting to see some actual numbers come across, but I've heard it's being received really well.
I really like it, I have only tried the reg and look forward to trying the stark. I feel its just as good as OP if not better. OP is really good but loses its flavor rather quickly. I didn't notice that as much with the new long portion.

Every time I call the ONE tobacco shop that even knows what non-Camel snus is in our area they act like I am crazy when I ask about the long (come on Roo, get them to carry it!)
So Chad, how does it compare to 01 and 02? I have been wanting to try it but at 80 bucks per roll it's an expensive experiment.

I liked 0102 for the portion size and comfort, but always loved the General flavor. It takes everything good about 0102 and throws in a classic flavor to make it a really great experience.
To say I've been anticipating this would be an understatement. Today, I received the official news about General Long and General Long Sterk. Rumors...
It starts in the soil. Before someone even puts a seed in it, soil samples are taken to a laboratory in Sweden for analysis. Swedish Match experiments with cultivation in different countries to achieve the best possible raw tobacco. If declared a good soil for tobacco, seeds are planted and every step in the development and the cultivation of the plant is carefully ...
