Long Portions being the standard?

Here's a question for people with "inside information". Do you think Swedish Match will release White Long Portion varieties? Technically, Catch Pure Mint is a White Long Portion, but it's considered a mini. Since White Portion snus is starting to outsell Original Portions, it would be in SM's interest to make a Long Portion snus that looks and tastes similar to a traditional White Portion.

Not everyone including me thinks the longer portions have the comfort of Los or less bulge to me in some long portions they are too long and droop down and show, so less discreet while the reg portions fit right up in the pocket.. everyone's mouth will fit these portions different. So keeping the tried and true standard of OP would be the advantage/benefit for most not the few..

Good point. It's true not all long portions are created equally (the same), 01/02 pouch is my favorite. Bottom line, I'm just thankful it is an option and others like it as well, so it will continue. For those who prefer std pouch no offense intended. Wouldn't want to mess with your stuff

According to Northerner, it's a medium portion . . Personally, I found the 7mg nic hit to be right in line with General Mint reg white portion 8mg. With that said, I would prefer 8mg + white long portions, if possible.

As long as 01 and General Long keep selling enough to justify them making it then I'll be happy. Long portions suit me just fine.

Be interesting to know how the long portions have been received in Sweden, whether they think it's a good thing or a novelty.

Thunder Frosted Long is quickly on it's way to becoming my go to portion, that is when I use portion.

I'd love to see a Thunder Original Long (and wintergreen for that matter). Now that they're done with the Thunder OT contest, maybe we'll get an original long. <hope>

Never tried Thunder Original, So wouldn't know.. I was wanting to try and almost put the Thunder original Mini in my last order,But opted for the Thunder frosted mini instead...

Thunder Original is good. I'd like it in a long portion.

The general long are real comfy for me, but the taste takes ages to to get going. Not bad, I just preferred the taste of original General came on sooner.

It's a wait and see, from a lot of sources I've heard from. The sales figures from Lab Series being well received began General Long, and I'm sure V2 seeing the performance of Lab Series caused them to release their own long series (Long+). Since it's such a new product, (especially in the case of General Long - a traditional flavored long snus) people are waiting to see what happens. Gen Long and Gen Long Sterk's sales numbers (especially in Sweden) will show how people embrace it and if it continues to maintain a steady flow of product and profit, I'm sure it would go from there.

From what I've heard from a few people in Sweden, two more companies are looking into releasing long portions, but are waiting to see how General Long performs and see sales figures from retail outlets.
