So I got my Thunder Berry shipment from snusbargain. It was an amazingly good deal, but I figured out why they are selling it so cheap. All the snus (that i've opened anyways) is dry to the point of being less than delicious. Maybe I just got a bad roll but it's that kind of dry where it starts to get hard, you know what I mean? And in my experience, V2 seems to always ship their stuff extra moist, at least in the orders that i've had.

Has anyone else experienced this for those of you who may have bought thunder berry from the first snusbargain when they launched the site?

The experation date says 12. maj 2011. Not sure what maj means but obviously that's over a year from now. I don't know, I am going to open up some other cans and see if it was just a bad roll or something.


Anyways, great deal, paid $115 out the door for 50 cans of thunder berry, and Northerner threw in the extra 10 cans as promised, so 60 rolls for $115, shipped, to california. Can't really complain with a deal like that.

V2 is fairly uneven with their portions. It's hard to say what you'll end up with when you order. Try rehydrating them, and they should perk up.

The idea is definitly not to sell bad snus, the snus on SnusBargain shouldn't differ any from what we normally sell so I'll definitly look into this for you!

Oh okay, I wasn't sure if V2 was just unloading their dryer snus on you and offering it for a bargain or something lol. I mean it's all still good and I would certainly buy it again at such a great price, but was just curious if snusbargain had worked some deal out with the manufacturers to give their B rated snus away for a bit of a discount.


I'll chock it up to what Lx said, because V2 is always hit or miss with their snus, it's always way too dry or way too wet lol. Must be a distribution thing. Still, they make the best snus in town!

And how does one go about re-hydrating portions. I know there was a few threads about it, but which one works best? The wet napkin thing?



Edit: Oh shit, am I reading this right? Snuson VIP now has thunder frosted in the lineup? So I can get 50 cans of thunder frosted for $125 with the gold membership?

Just get some distilled water, dip your fingers in it and let 1 drop fall on each portion, let it sit a while and they'll be good. Worked for me on a can of dry GES. Think I saw it on Youtube. My snus baked in 100 degree heat all weekend this past summer in the back of a UPS truck, when I got it the portions were really dried out.

Wonder if the VIP Thunder will have the same problem. Once you re-hydrated it, was it delicious again?

It was definitely rehydrated but the flavor was somewhat muted. Most likely this was caused by the extreme and prolonged heat. If it was 100 outside no telling how hot it was in the back of that truck.
