Hey, Precious, if you only posted once in a blue moon it wouldn't be bad.
But as I scrolled down these pages that frickin' rodent kept making me
cockeyed ... I just put him behind an invisi-shield!!
Stem tobacco lends itself to some bitterness, that not a bad thing. Licorice and anise flavours are a good fit with darker tobaccos. Is there any detectable smoke flavouring? Hot about the nic level?
Added thought salmiak and anise/licorice are a natural combination. Salmiak also has a salty taste.
It's a tad smoky. The nicotine level is pretty nice. Feels like a sterk.
It sounds like something I would like too, as long as we can get it shipped to Iowa.
I've been working on another way to get my snus via a relative who lives in another state. He's up for mailing stuff to me, may try it once and see how it works out.
Snus is banned in Iowa. I'm not sure if anyone can actually order in Iowa any type of smokeless tobacco.
I don't think snus is actually banned, you just can't buy any tobacco out of state and have it shipped in, therefore bypassing paying state taxes on it.
I can get a limited range of General from tobacco stores here but the nearest is almost a 2 hour round trip. I make the trip once every two weeks (payday) and take a gamble on what is in stock. I can normally get enough snus to get me through to next paycheck for just under $20.00. Still it's better than no snus.
I did order from buysnus once but i just can't cough up the cash to order enough to make it worthwhile.

You should see if they'll make special orders for you. Years ago when the local tobacco shop closed, I had to drive a long way to a small grocery that carried Drum rolling tobacco. They would order for me, so I'd call in an order for 4 tins, then go pick it up once a month. That saved a lot of driving and guesswork as to whether they'd have it in or not.
