I just tried this as my first ever flavoured snus. I went into it not expecting much, but it was excellent in a really weird way. The spearmint taste is really nice, clean and cooling. The nicotine kick is good too - subtle but forceful - a bit like a brick wrapped in velvet.

BUT - and it's a big but......there's no tobacco taste at all! None. It's just a nice sweet minty taste all the way. I kept expecting the mint to fade out and some strong tobacco to kick in, but it still hadn't happened after the hour and a half mark.

I'm used to things like Claq Qui, General Onyx, N&J Black - basically dark tobacco tasting snus....but the Thunder ESF has none of that at all. It's almost like eating mints with extra nicotine.

Having said that, I really enjoyed it anyway. I think it will definitely be one to keep on rotation as a change - and could well be snus I will use to get smoking friends into snus. It doesn't taste of snus though....

But no tobacco taste is just strange....

A few months ago when I first started using snus, I wasn't crazy about Thunder Frosted. I tried it again the other day and I love it now.
Weird how your tastes evolve.
Anyway, to me, this portion snus has the hardest and fastest nicotine kick of any I've tried (and I've tried all of the sterks). The sweet spearmint flavor is very nice, it reminds me of the Skoal Long Cut Spearmint that I used at one time. Thunder Frosted is great after a nice big hearty meal.
This one is definitely a winner.

Not a bad tasting snus, but the nic kick blew my head clean off. Way too much for me. If that's what you're looking for, you'll find it here.

This is one of two that I use every day. The other being General Extra Sterk. I love the nic hit and the taste. I hate to admit it but first thing in the morning not even this is enough nicotine to get me going. Still haven't been able to break the smoking habit. I'm down to two smokes while I've got an extra strong snus in my mouth first thing in the morning. I go through about 5 frosted throughout the day. Great tasting snus.

I tried this for the first time a week or so ago. You can't go wrong with it. The taste is amazing. Good spearmint, like an Ice Breakers gum. But there is no over powering sweetness to it. You taste spearmint AND you taste a very high quality tobacco. I dig this very much. Nicotine kicks you straight in the face and you do not need to chain snus. I see what the hype is about this snus now and it is well deserved. If you are like me and prefer the starks, you must try this one.

I use this snus daily. It is wonderful. I have to agree with what all has been said. If you use a stark snus this is one to try. The flavor is great and the nic kick is amazing. Buy a can and you will see.


EDIT: Must be my favorite snus of all after trying most everything there is to try now.

Yea I have just tried it for the first time, only bought one tin and ran out of it. Now I'm considering making an order just for a Thunder Frosted. The taste is haunting.

Absolutely one hell of a great product. Kicks like a mule when you need the extra bump. Great mint flavor without the sweetness. And again, strong as hell. My number 2 snus after General Wintergreen. One of only two I buy in rolls, the other being General Wintergreen. In constant rotation. 5 stars.

A good snus for sure! Only thing I can't stand is the smell of it(Beginning was good but now it kind of makes me sick) although it isn't making me so sick now so I guess I'm getting used to it :P
Gives a good kick very fast, also OD when your tolerance isn't very big ^^

The best snus on sale at the moment.

You can never feel deprived of nicotine with this great tasting product.
Now that they do the 12 mg long you don't have to have the full whack nic hit but having said that, the 12mg still kicks like a mule probably due to the way the whole portion comfortably makes contact with all of the gum.
