General Classic Blend is very similar to General White Portion.

I did not like this one at all at first with trying one portion but now after using more portions over a day have changed my mind. They are selling what they call a trial pack for 2.79. The portion feels great under the lip and for being only 7mg of nic still seems to satisfy. The flavor profile also seems to have less pepper which is something I enjoy. going to try the mint one next.

I am trying some General Classic Blend right now. It's not bad. Better than Camel.

I enjoyed the Classic Blend

This was the last of the 8 varieties of General I have tried, out of all of their available varieties that they sell around here. Mostly because it only comes with 12 portions (at least in my area) while the round cans have 24 portions (20 for the mini-mint) and just one big 45gram portion for the loose. Also the Nordic Mint seems to be sold in more stores that I have been to, than the Classic.
I was worried it might be a sweetened flavor, like the nordic mint, but i was wrong. It is just straight tobacco flavor and it's excellent, comparable to the White portions, but not as salty. I don't think the flavor lasts a long time though, but I have not spent a lot of time with it. The Nordic Mint flavor seems to lasts longer, but it's the lingering mint flavor that stays (for over an hour if you keep it in). I like the thinner size of these portions, they fit nicer under the lip.
Anyway, I'll be buying more, I am glad it's available locally. I also found Classic Blend goes well with a White portion, for when a stronger nicotine kick is desired (since they do not sell ekstra sterks in the states!)
